Lazy Turtle: Best Quality Apparel for the Beach

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

I don't know what happened. Yesterday he was in diapers, today he has outgrown the last size there is for kids in shoes, and he is on the biggest size in clothes that is left for children. Soon he'll be wearing men's clothing to match his men's shoes. That being said, he has also outgrown his swimsuits, which we found out on the last vacation we took (over Thanksgiving Break), so we have to replace his old with some new, and what better time than the holiday season when we are already out shopping anyway?! Lazy Turtle makes premium sun and swim clothes, and this Splash Sun Safe Long Sleeve is top of the line. It is just what we needed to replace his previous swimshirts (rash guard shirts) that he has outgrown. I love that it's a bold, bright red too. That makes him easier to spot on the beach, or when we're in the water. These shirts are a necessity for us, because they keep my child protected without the need to apply and reapply sunscreen liberally and often (something he hates to do because it interrupts his fun!).

Don't worry about all that fun in the sun with the Paddle Sun Safe Long Sleeve shirt’s natural SPF rating of 50+, blocking 98% of the sun’s harmful UVA and UVB rays. Comfortable, soft, tagless fabric kids love to wear.  We’re honored to help keep your family sun safe, and as an added bonus, keep chemicals from sunscreen off your body and out of our oceans.

Lazy Turtle offers a variety of items for men, women and children. Another item they have that we're loving right now is this Naples Mesh Back cap (it comes in different colors). Like almost everything in little man's closet, as I am grouching about noting, he had also outgrown his caps, so this is a welcome new addition. He likes to toss on a hat if we're outside; it keeps the sun out of his eyes without the need for sunglasses.

It's a nice, thick and very sturdy hat, with the Lazy Turtle patch sewn on the front. The best thing about this company is that they use a portion of their profits to help save sea turtles!! Whether you live in a warm area or not, that is a wonderful goal to help support.

My favorite thing about this company is the quality and feel of their products. You can tell they have gone all out to ensure these products are going to feel good on, and they are going to last.

One more picture of the hat so you can see the way the logo appears on it.
Note: his bottom lashes are longer than my top lashes! #lucky
Hope you are well!  I am a mom of 3 young kids, and recently started a clothing line called Lazy Turtle because I couldn’t find high quality, comfortable SPF apparel my family actually wanted to wear. I didn’t want to continually expose both them and the ocean to sunscreen.  Most importantly, we donate a portion of our profits to save sea turtles and support locLaal marine conservation.  Additionally, our natural SPF apparel is never chemically treated, made here in Florida, and kids love our bright colors and cute turtle logo!

These make a great gift idea for the holiday season and I love them so much. It's nice to have the best quality for our kids, and no one does that like Lazy Turtle. Learn more by visiting the Lazy Turtle website.

  4. What an amazing initiative! I agree with you. It's hard to find SPF apparel. I absolutely love that a portion of the profit goes directly to save sea turtles!!
