Give the Gift of Reading! Candlewick Press has Awesome Book Suggestions for Kids!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Books are a staple for holiday gift giving. I always make sure the children in our family get a big, beautiful hardback book full of great illustrations and an engaging story line. If you like to do the same, I have found several really good options and will share them here. Around the Table that Gradad Built is a great choice. It is a wonderful testament to the power of family and traditions. Walk through the things this family loves and see them through the eyes of a child.

See how everyone and everything are connected in one way or another, and refresh your spirit of contentment with just those things that are around you every single day, as this family prepares for a holiday meal together.

Peppa is always a good idea, and this holiday themed-book is sure to hit the spot, either as a book you are reading before the holidays, or as a treasure to find wrapped up under the Christmas Tree.

The bright, beautiful colors add a vibrancy to this book that is hard to resist for adults and children alike. I know every single child in my family loves Peppa Pig, and to be quite honest (said in my best Peppa Pig English accent), I love these characters too! This is a no-brainer gift idea. It instantly delights and will bring joy for many reading sessions to come.

The Little Snowplow from the The Little Snowplow Wishes for Snow and I disagree about one thing, and that is his love of snow, but the story is adorable, and the plow really is too.

This little guy wants one thing, and one thing only for his birthday gift, and that is to be able to use his plow in the snow. The weather stays dry, however, and we start to wonder if he will ever get his gift.

Join him on his quest and see if he gets what it is he has been wishing for all of this time.

Each one of these books is generously sized, making them an even bigger treat to give as a gift. They are all published by Candlewick Press and can be purchased online or in retail stores nationwide.

  3. That first one looks so cute! I'm struggling on what book(s) to get my 2. I used to put a movie in their stockings, then it moved to books. It seems like they are both so picky!

  4. I've said it before and I'll always say it again and again. You can NEVER go wrong with the gift of books. It's the gift that gives forever.
