For the Stockings, Classroom Treats, Holiday Parties and Santa!

It's a new day,  the start of a new week, and the final stretch before the kids go on Christmas vacation. So many people are traveling, and since we live in Florida, a lot of those travels will be in Orlando where all of the fun and sun is: amusement parks, theater shows, hotels with lazy rivers, and so on. Believe me when I tell you that I am hearing about them all, left and right. Kids are excited and anticipatory of the fun that waits for them, just around the corner. That means they are not overly focused (even though they have semester exams this week) and quite frankly, don't want to be in class. Who can blame them? Not I, but we have work to do!! One way to get them in the groove is to hand out snacks. A few of my students have peanut or dairy allergies, but the one snack that always works out well, that they really do enjoy is Welch's Fruit Snacks.

The mixed fruit seasonal shapes go over well because they are so cute, and they go right along with the theme that has the children so excited: Christmas. I like to pass these out too, because they are good for any time of the day (breakfast, just after lunch, or right before school is about to get out). As a teacher of older students, I have found that the one thing that consistently works to 'bribe them' into listening when they are a bit wired, is food. Kids love food, period, and this is a snack I can feel good about giving them. Made with real fruit (and they are fat and gluten-free), this is a quick treat that is always sure to make them smile when I pull out the box. Oh, and did I mention there's no mess? No muss, no fuss, and happy students? Yeah, that's my kind of treat.

These also make great treats when hosting a party; place a bowl on the table, dump a box of snacks in, and you have instant happy. Of course, they are the perfect size for holiday stockings as well. In my oldest son's house, they'll also go on the 'cookie plate' for Santa (because my granddaughter doesn't eat a lot of sugar and cannot fathom that Santa would want to either). 🎅 Pick yours up at retail and grocery stores nationwide. Be sure to look for the seasonal shapes.
The Welch’s® Fruit Snacks Christmas-themed box and pouch have custom graphics with fun shapes including a snowman, ornament, Santa, snowflake, and Christmas tree. These fruit snacks are perfect for stocking stuffers or holiday entertaining.

  4. Those are cute. I told Isaak he can eat these, as long as he sucks on them. He was told he couldn't because of his braces.
