So These Cards are Cool!! Playing Card Decks started via Kickstarter in 2017!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

My son is at the age where his friends want to play cards during their downtime, and I'm talking about games like Rummy or Canasta, which is a lot harder than the Crazy 8's or Go Fish that I am used to playing.

That being said, little man thought it was time to get his own set of cards, and stop using mine. That means he can take them in his backpack for the one day of the month his class is allowed to have play time in the afternoon.  He didn't want just any ordinary deck of cards, he wanted something cool. Heading over to PlayingCardDecks.com turned out to be a great idea because as one of the largest retailers of custom limited edition playing cards (they offer over 1,500 decks), there were plenty of options to choose from on the site.

The Limited Edition Nostalgic Playing Cards with a circus theme turned out to be a really great choice.

Some of the drawings held a nostalgic feel to them for me, that I could remember from when I was a kid, and yet they held the interest of a young boy who wasn't as familiar with these scenes as was his mom. ;)

The quality of the cards is great, a nice thickness and a slick, glossy feel (but not slippery). They won't bend easily and they will hold up for a long time, if you take care of them. I was looking around the site, and there are so many options that appeal!! From Van Gogh, to Gold embossed cards, to cards that depict history, hobbies, and so much more, this is a wonderful website to visit to find just the deck of cards you want or need.

As an aside, I'm thinking it would also be a great website to visit during the holiday season. I'm always looking for a unique gift idea to purchase that can be tucked into a Christmas Stocking, and what better than an ultra cool and unique looking deck of cards?! Yes, I am one of those people who thinks about holiday gift giving, year-round. That being said though, these would be a marvelous purchase any time of the year.

That is a nice deck of playing cards. We always take a deck or two with us on road trips. My grown kids have fun playing cards to ease the boredom of long road tips.

  15. How fun! They do look cool! Isaak got a set of cards from my sister that are gold. I love them too. I like playing cards and bored games more than video games.
