Wallaroo Fold and Go Sun Hat for Babies

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Wallaroo has these adorable little fold and go sunhats for infants. They have hats for adults too, and any age between the two, but what I want to talk about is the wee little ones. :)  You can see from the tag still attached that this particular one is UPF 50+, so I definitely wanted to get it for the newest babe in our family. We were traveling together (me, her parents and my youngest son) to a beach resort, so I figured she'd get more outdoor time if she had a nifty little hat to protect her.

This hat is awesome because you can easily take it with you most anywhere you go. It is SUPER lightweight, and folds up really small (one-third the size of what you see above!).

Here you can see i am tucking it into the little front pocket on my purse.

They have a lot of different styles. This is the Lorikeet (in daisy print).  I love the precious embroidery along the edge, the dotted lace ruffle, the tight stitching, the adorable polakadots, the soft colors, and the bigger daisies on the top section. There is also a matching Velcro strap to keep it secure on a windy (or busy) day. It's very soft and must be super comfortable. As you can see, this is no ordinary sunhat!

Protect your infant's delicate skin with our popular Lorikeet sun hat, constructed with comfortable and classic fabric designs. Perfect for taking on vacation or going out to the beach or park with your little one. A matching Velcro chin strap keeps the hat in place, safe from gusty winds and curious little fingers!
  • UPF 50+ fabric blocks 97.5% of ultraviolet rays, according to the Australian Radiation Protection Agency
  • 2" brim
  • Packable - crushable
  • Crown size - 46cm (commonly fits 3-12 months)
  • Velcro chin strap
  • 100% cotton
  • Handwash cold

As luck would sometimes have it, I ordered just a tad bit too late and the hat was delivered sometime while we were already off enjoying our sun and fun. So... my daughter's sweet baby girl did not stay out in the sun too very long, not even while in the pool. That's okay though, we've got it for next time,

  3. Such an adorable print! Love the fact that you can shove them in a diaper bag and they won't get ruined or out of shape. And the sun protection factor is a must for anyone, but especially babies!

  7. I love that it is 100% cotton as it can be hard to find breathable material. It has such a cute pattern.

  11. I heard St. Augustine is a super fun place to go. Judging by your photos, I can tell it is. I love that bonnet! It reminds me of Little House on the Prairie days! Bring that style back! I totally dig suspenders too!
