Canvas Factory is a company I know and trust. I used them to enlarge a photo of my 4 kids together. This was before the some of them had children of their own (though one was in the tummy of my oldest son's wife when this was taken). Technically, you could say it was the last professional photo of an era that has now passed us by. My babies are no longer babies. My daughter is the latest child of my to have a child of her own (and what a sweet, wonderful, and beautiful little girl she is). I love to have my canvas prints on the wall, and thought now that she is building a family of her own, that she might like to have one too. I texted her to ask if she had a print she would like enlarged into a canvas and it took her all of 5 seconds to send back her favorite photo of her little one in the arms of her daddy. This photo was taken in the hospital room on the day baby girl was born, and it means a lot to my daughter.
Here's my baby...or at least I can say he is the youngest one, and the only one left still at home. He's 11 and close to 5-ft. tall, so even though you probably have a good idea of how one of these is sized (20" x 16") it is still nice to have a visual. The generous size makes them great for hanging in big rooms, especially if you stack or arrange them, and you can get good visual ideas for that on the Canvas Factory website. If you're looking to fill a smaller space, just getting the one is perfect!
We're not keeping this on our wall, in fact, it's already been given to my daughter to hang on hers, but I did put it up just so you could see it. That's my little boy version of Vanna White there, doing a great job showcasing which one I am talking about today, though both came from Canvas Factory. There are many reasons we love canvas prints in our home. Of course living in Florida, the number one reason would be humidity. I have to cut plastic sheets to go on top of photos in glass frames, that sometimes (depending on the light of the day) leads to glare that detracts from the beauty of a photo. If I don't, my pictures get ruined because the humidity inevitably makes them stick to the glass. Another is that they are durable! And another reason, though I could think of many more, is that they are just a great way to display a favorite photograph on your wall. I love my photo from Canvas Factory and my daughter loves hers!
