This is New to Me and I love it! Rockit Baby Rocker

July 20th marks the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo Lunar Landing, so why not celebrate with life-saving, moon-themed products!

We do have new precious cargo in the family and what a sweetpea she is too! We recently took a little mini trip together, and to say she is a joy would be such an understatement. I'm telling you, every single time my youngest baby grand gets picked up, she smiles...BIG. If you hold her in a standing up position, she laughs and 'talks/coos' to you. If you put her down, however, she's not always overly thrilled. :) One solution: Rockit Baby Rocker! Haven't heard of it? Nor had I until now, but what an awesome invention.

Honestly, with each one of my children, all who were very sweet babies, I do remember having to find different tactics that made them want to go to sleep. For my oldest, it was simply pretending I was going to sleep...one look at my eyes closing and he was out too. For my second oldest, it was a walk around the house next to mama's chest all snuggled up and warm. For my daughter, whose baby I am talking about now, it was a drive around the block (she fell asleep in her car seat every time) and for my youngest, it was a jaunt up and down the hallway, holding him on the crook of my arm (he loved that for some reason). Now for my youngest granddaughter, if she's feeling sleepy but doesn't want to sleep, her mama can put the RockIt on her stroller and it will gently lull (not shake!) her to sleep.  I think this is an awesome invention!! I'm happy to share it with you here.

Created by three dads to help parents on the go, this handy must-have accessory keeps babies moving and snoozing. Simply (vertically) attach to your stroller with the universal bracket, push the button, and adjust the speed to gently rock your baby, just like you would by hand.

Tests show the vibration level closely mimics the normal hand rocking of a pushchair and the subtle, yet soothing, movement is gentler than a stroll around the block. Perfect for baby shower gifts, or anyone who has a little one at home.

  9. They didn't have anything like that when my boys were born. I know a few moms and dads that had to rock and rock so I bet they would've appreciated this.

  14. Sounds like a great product! We're welcoming 3 new babies over the next 2 months in our friend/family circle and I am sure at least one of the parents will want to get their hands on this.
