smART Sketcher Projector Trace or Step by Step Instructions on How to Draw

Disclosure: this is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

STEAM is huge these days. Most of us have heard of it, and for those of us who haven't, the acronym means Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Toys geared towards all of these elements may get labeled as a STEAM item, and if they do, that probably means your oroduct is going to be fantasic, like this sketcher! We want our children to be prepared for the future, to understand how to use and create in ways that will allow them to have fun yet seamlessly move forward and progress in the areas forementioned (and I've said it a million times, if they are having so much fun that they don't realize how much they are learning, that is even more amazing). The smART Sketcher Projector is wonderful for all of these things, and kids are going to love it!

With over 50 activities to do, this 'toy' allows young drawers to literally have hours of fun. It's one of those toys you don't want to put away because there are just so many things to learn and do with it.

It is pre-loaded with tons of things for young drawers to learn or draw. You can have the projector show one of the items it has pre-programmed on the insert (see the little 'ears' at the top of the machine) and then put on the option to trace it fully, or use the buttons to go through step-by-step instructions to help you learn to draw it on your own. Then you can add a background and even something animated, like a flying flower or butterfly that goes across the top of your picture. So cool! One small consideration I like about this machine is that there are non-slip gripper feet on the bottom!! This ensures it's going to stay in place while your artist is using it to draw.

You can use the pre-loaded selections or use it with the free app, compatible with iOS or Android. That allows you to take a picture of anything, the app will convert it to sketch mode and then you can trace or get the step-by-step instructions to draw it.

I just wanted to put a close-up picture of the buttons so you could see that they are sturdy and easy to understand. This toy actually would be amazing for a wide age range. I know both the 5 and 11 years olds in our family would love it (and the kiddos every age in between).

Though there are many things I could still talk about, I will leave you with addition to having an AC adapter (so you can plug it in), you could also opt to run it on batteries (so it's perfect to take with you on the go). It is compact and stores inside of itself to make it easy to carry. I think this is an ideal gift for children who love to create (and what child doesn't love to create?) and I'm so happy to have one in our house for out littles to enjoy. Learn more about it on the smART Sketcher website. You can buy it in major retail stores (including Michaels, Target and more) and online (including Amazon).
