UnbelievaBrella: Reverse Closing Umbrella from ShedRain

Disclosure: this is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

I cannot count the number of times I've struggled  to get in or out of my car without getting me and everything around me soaking wet while closing my umbrella, while it was pouring down rain. ShedRain recognized the universal struggle and set out to find the solution, which they did with the UnbelievaBrella.

This is a reverse closing umbrella that opens and shuts in the opposite direction of that we are used to in traditional umbrellas. I love it because it works well and keeps me dry even when I'm entering or exiting my vehicle.

The no-slip, easy-grip (no-hands-needed) handle is convenient and adds to the overall appeal of the device. No more struggling to hold your umbrella when you have other things in your hands (which always seems to be the case for me). This handle makes it a cinch to hold tight though, if you'd like to use your hands, even on the gustiest of rainy days.

It comes in many patterns and colors. This one is called Prom Dress Polka Dots. The outside is solid black and the underside (when opened) shows the dots.

And here it is in action...going up and

coming back down.

It's really easy to use, and honestly the novelty of it makes it fun too.

So fun, my son asked to put it up again. 😉

There really are no down sides (cons) to the umbrella, although I do have to say if it folded smaller (it is an elegant lengthwise look) I wouldn't be sad because that would make it easier to carry along when we were anticipating rain. As is though, it truly is fine, and I know that many higher end umbrellas are the same size and do not fold to be portable.

I think this umbrella would make a wonderful gift for anyone, now or during the very quickly approaching holiday season. I highly recommend this product. It is sturdy, easy to use, unique, priced well and not hard at all on the eyes. You can buy it in major retail stores nationwide. It is also available for purchase on the ShedRain website.

Sounds like it does the trick. You know it is good when he wants to do it again.

This is so clever because I am always prone to having my umbrella going upwards due to wind which is not fun when you're having a nice hair day.

I've seen these type of brollies about and wondered how they are when it comes to working, it seems like they definitely do the job - I may have to look into buying one.

OMG!! This is great. I'm happy that someone thought of it. 'cause it's really difficult sometimes to get in the car, with stuff in our hands and trying to close the umbrella at the same time lol Nice idea.

This umbrella is great! Personally, I don’t have one. But I’ve seen them in near distance! Def helps keep the rain tamed.

It's fun! I bet the first time it's opened up, it's confusing as to how it works. Then you quickly get used to it.

Wow, I really like this umbrella a lot. Couldn't believe a simple design of an umbrella can do this after god knows how many years that it was invented. This is so clever and I really want to get myself a few. This is brilliant! Thx for sharing...

That's a wild reversible umbrella. I would never of thought of having something like that before. I will have to check to see if I can find one around me.

What a great idea. I would have loved this for my daughter when she lived in London for a year and constantly was caught in the rain. Hope this concept takes off and these can be found easily at all stored.

Genius! I need this in my life. I'm always soaking myself by closing the umbrella when I get in my car, which defeats the purpose of the umbrella in the first place!
