One of the new kits now available for purchase is the Playmobil Camping Adventure Carry Case. It has 32 pieces, everything you need to get a fun camping site (pretend of course) up and running.
The only item that needed assembly was the tent, but that was as simple as putting the canopy over the structure as shown. My 10-year-old did it on his own, but I suspect the 5-year-old in our family would have been able to do it as well (she loves the Playmobil carry kits too).
I really like the 2 campers because one is large and one is small. Kids can make them big brother/little brother, father/son, camper/camp instructor, and so on and so forth.
When my son finished putting together the tent, and inspected the other pieces, I moseyed on over to take a picture of what was going on. I set them upright and my son was quick to rebuke my placement. Do you see what I did? I had the nerve to put the fish over the canoe instead of the fire, lolol.
He moved the fish over to the fire, and then we were good to go. He's right, it makes more sense this way, but I told him I was just feeding the fella in the canoe. ;)
Here the guys and their equipment are drying out, because when there's a canoe involved, of course my son is sending it out on the lake (aka a kitchen sink full of water). The pieces dry off easily and then you are able to put them back in their case. Have I mentioned how much I love that carrying case? It not only allows you to bring it on the go, it also keeps the pieces in one place, so when it's time to play once again, you're not scrambling to find the pieces.

Another of the new kits is the Playmobil City Life Music Class Carry Case. This 25-piece set is recommended for children ages 4+ (small pieces are included). It has everything you need to make a band or music class of your own (imaginatively speaking, of course)., and one lucky winner is going to get one to call their very own.
- All accessories can be stored in the case.
- Musical instruments for the children include a guitar, two cymbals, two drums, two rattles, and a tambourine.
- The keyboard can only be played by an adult figure.
- The smaller instruments can be stored in a box.
