One Night Advent Kickstarter Campaign and Information on Giveaway

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

I guess I'm feeling Christmas-y today, which is actually a little late for me. I usually start thinking about Christmas in July, and don't stop until the big day is here. I like to make sure everyone is happy on that day and that the feelings associated with the true reason behind the holiday and being together are those that will last a lifetime. That's how it was with my grandma, and I guess that tradition just kind of stuck. In any case, 'late' or not, I am very excited to share the Kickstarter campaign that is going on right now for a super-sized advent calendar for the upcoming holidays.

Honestly, I get a lot of requests to share Kickstarter campaigns, but I usually do not. This one, however, really appealed to me in that it's an advent calendar like no other I've ever seen. It shares the story of Christmas with you in an interactive way that is hard to resist. My son loves that it's so big. I love that it's so detailed.

It's drawn in monochrome black & white,

and the illustrations are just beautiful.

Share the Christmas story with our children in a way that they will remember and that will surely touch their hearts. The calendar tells a story inspired by the book of Luke. The Book of Luke (2:8-20) says that on the night of the first Christmas angels visited shepherds tending their flocks and told them to visit their newborn savior.  ONE NIGHT reimagines the story through the eyes of one of the shepherds. You can read it in one setting or you can open one window a day, for 24 days, leading up to the actual holiday itself. I'm not sure which of the two we'll do, I think I'm going to leave that one up to my son.

If this calendar inspires you and you'd like to own one for yourself, head on over to the kickstarter  page. There you can learn more, and see about getting one for yourself. Kickstarter found here:
