Phyter for Back-to-School Nutrition!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

I hate that so many things your kids want to buy, or my kids want me to buy, are filled with junk. It seems to me that items filled with ingredients that are good for them, appeal very little. Sooo...when I got the Phyter Plant-based food bars, I was hoping for the best. These are plant-based food bars that provide quality nutrition, in a form the kids are supposed to like. What kid doesn't reach for a fruit (or veggie, if you're a wizard mom) bar if they see them in the kitchen? They look like snacks that could be filled with sugar and gunk, but they're not. Okay, you might be thinking that's all well and good, but what about the flavor

I am VERY happy to report that the flavor was a win too! The three you see in the photo above turned out to be my youngest son's favorites. The photos in the bottom photo came in 2nd place, but he did truly like them all. I keep these at home because they have to be refrigerated, but you can pack them for school lunches too, with a freeze block to keep them fresh/cold.

I'll be picking some up for when my granddaughter comes to visit (you can buy them on the website or in certain stores near you). She likes snacks...in fact, at age 5, snacks are a BIG-BIG deal. Since she just started Kindergarten, grandma (that's me) will be picking her up for the weekend to celebrate. These will go along on the trip. Yep, we're taking a mini-trip. I can't wait (to see how she feels about the nutritious snacks, and for the trip)! Phyter is the only bar made with fresh vegetables and fruits, and to me that really matters. They are also organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, soy-free and kosher.

Phyter Food, the creator of 100% plant-based food bars, has a solution. Whether adding the bars as a topping to your kids’ favorite smoothie bowl or throwing a bar to the kids in the back of the car on the way to school - they are both healthy and convenient. The food bar line features Kale + Apple (think apple pie), Berries + Peanut Butter (think PB&J) and Beet + Cocoa (think brownies) flavors that use fresh vegetables and fruits as the leading ingredients and are loaded with phytonutrients – hence the Phyter name. You won’t find any preservatives hiding in the bars, which is why they’re found in the refrigerator.

I highly recommend these, for you and for the kids. :) You can learn more about them by visiting their website. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Instagram.

Those are some really unusual flavors.

Great that they are a win and taste good too. A couple of weird mixtures though. But hey, works it works.

You can beat delicious and healthy. I really want to try that berry peanut butter and sweet potato coconut. Not sure about beets, but I'd try anything once!

I find this interesting. Many "healthy" bars taste just awful. I'd give these a go.

Those sound like the perfect choice for my oldest. She makes her own lunch and often seeks convenience. I love knowing she'll get some great nutrition too.
