Giveaway Reminder and More Fun Games to See!

Look at the Pop Rocket!! Isn't he cute? I love Goliath Games and Pressman Toy, companies that have merged together making two greats even better! They offer a variety of games for every age. This adorable example you see here is for ages 4+.

The set-up is super easy. Simply pop out the cardboard stars...

lift the top of the rocket, and fill it with the pieces. You put the stickers on the die (far right in the picture),

and dole out the cups by color to the players. If there are 4 players you choose one color. With 2 players, we were able to choose (2) cup colors, which allowed us to collect stars faster.

You pull the string to start the timer, and roll the die to figure out how to place your cups. If you look closely at the die in the photo above, you'll see a roll no one wants their opponent to get. Whoever gets this one can put their cup on TOP of someone else's. The only thing you can hope to do at that point, is to roll the same on your turn, so you can plop one of your cups on top again.

When time is up and the string you pulled returns to the base, the top opens, and stars fly everywhere (which really makes the kids laugh). This game moves relatively fast, which is good for younger children with smaller attention spans. This is one of my favorite games to play with the smaller kids in our circle of family and friends.

Kids Know Best is another game they have, and it's for 2-4 players, ages 6+ This is a fun trivia game that allows your kiddos to be the smarty pants in the family, if they can answer the trivia questions before the parents do. With questions like, "Who has a magical stethoscope that brings stuffed animals to life?" you might be surprised at who gets to the finish line faster! There are 990 questions, so this game will not get old any time fast!

Kwirky is a game for ages 10+. This is card game fun for the whole family. Try to convince the players around you that what you are saying is true, before the sand hits the bottom of the hourglass. Don't forget though, you can be challenged! This game requires quick wit and it generates a lot of banter. It's great fun when you have older kids in the family, like we do!

The game my 10-year-old is LOVING right now is Shark Bite. This is also one of the game options on a Pressman Toy/Goliath Games giveaway that is running on this blog through August 6th, 2018. This is how it looks while you load the pieces inside of the shark's mouth (you just know there's going to be trouble if you're inside of a shark's mouth). The yellow plastic pieces on the left are the fishing poles.

You know at one point that the removal of one of those pieces is going to result in the shark rising up quickly and snapping closed its mouth, but it still makes you jump and laugh every single time.

In the picture above, you can see the victor was the shark. He wasn't giving up that fish for nuttin'! :) The game is technically for 2-4 players, ages 4+ , but we are far older than that and we really enjoy it. Even my 25-year-old who came up to spend the week with us, likes playing this one.

DON'T FORGET THE GIVEAWAY!!

Now through August 6th you can win Shark Bite, Rummikub, Catch the Fox, Build or Boom, or Mastermind for Kids by visiting THIS POST while you're here. We love these 2 companies and are happy to play their games any time! Learn more by visiting Goliath Games or Pressman Toy, and don't forget to enter the giveaway before you go. Good luck to all who enter!!

Shark bite sure looks like fun. I wouldn't know the answer to the stuffed animal one haha sure would fail at that. First sounds like some quick fun with the younger kiddos indeed.

Both of these look like a lot of fun. The shark game is perfect for Shark Week, too! I love finding games the kids enjoy, instead of having them stare at screens all the time.

Both games are super cute! I think I would really get a kick out of Shark Bite though. I may have to talk my mother in law to grabbing a copy for the grand kids at her house just so I can have a chance to play it.
