Hubby and I have already done this for ourselves. All planned out and paid for. Don't want to leave that to someone else to do and so many just never attend to this.

Good to get that in line indeed, or at least have an idea. As it can be a headache to find a good one when needed. Not that one really ever wants to need one.

Tip #3 is an eye-opener. Funeral costs can easily escalate.

My daughter's friend just had her grandfather pass away unexpectedly. You never want to think about funeral homes, but it's an ugly necessary in life. These are good tips that I hope I don't need for a long time.
