High Quality Essential Oils from Plant Therapy (with a KidSafe® line)

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

I'll be the first to admit being slow to buy-in to the essential oil craze, but like it's been with some other things I took my good sweet time to try (high quality purses and shoes...yes, there IS a huge difference between them and those of lesser quality), a smartphone, and Netflix, (so funny to think I once had zero interest in watching it), once it was in the house, we all marveled how we lived without it, or why it took so long to try it. Even though I'm still learning about them, I love essential oils now. They are very diverse with so many uses to learn about and try. Headaches? Put a few drops of Peppermint Plant Therapy's 100% Pure Essential Oil in the diffuser close to where you are sitting, and feel that throb in your head dissipate and then disappear. If you catch the headache early, it really works, or at least that has been the case with me, every single time I've felt one coming on, since we got this oil in the house.

Everyone seems to have a favorite (for me it's peppermint or cinnamon, though I'd love to find one that is cinnamon and cloves, or even just cloves!). Half the fun of these though, is trying out new scents to see if you like them, or coming to understand how they work. Each oil is beneficial in different ways. A co-worker told me she likes the Tea Tree Oil for antiseptic properties.  When I came home and did a little research on it, I found that it's good for that and so many other things too!! The list was pretty extensive, and if it helps in even half of the areas listed, it's worth checking into! I've found that the cinnamon keeps me from being hungry. I'm not sure if it works that way for everyone, I'm just telling you what is true for me. Anything that can subtly curb the appetite (and keep me from wanting to snack when I'm not really hungry) is a-okay in my book. Plus it smells delightful.

How Do You Use Essential Oils?

My new favorite is KidSafe® Grapefruit Pink Essential Oil. Almost all citrus smells make me happy anyway, they're very fragrant and uplifting, and this oil doesn't disappoint. I've used it in my tabletop diffuser and simply cannot stress how good it smells. I can't wait to experiment and try it and the other oils in different ways, though I suspect the diffuser will always be my favorite. Of course, with that being said, I could be surprised, because as I said, this is all newish to me! In fact, if you enjoy essential oils, please feel free to leave me comments on ways you use them. I'd love to learn as I go, and what better way than personal testimony?

Plant Therapy has a KidSafe® Line Parents will Love!

The one thing I do know is that I love the Plant Therapy line of essential oils, especially the line that is safe for kids. KidSafe® was formulated by world renowned essential oil safety expert, Robert Tisserand, and offers the first full line of synergies for children that you can be sure are also safe. There are special blends made specifically with our kiddos in mind, and I'm thinking the 'Sniff Stopper' is going to be the first one I try. Not only as a school teacher, but also as a mom, I know that this time of year is one where colds run rampant. Being able to minimize the discomfort or naturally help stop those sniffles intrigues me. I want to know more.

This Wooden Storage Box Keeps my Essential Oils Safe

Keeping my oils safe is a big deal to me. While they're not expensive at Plant Therapy, they still cost money, and in our home there are kids in and out all of the time...my own, my youngest son's fellow comrades, and those of family and friends. The set I own came in a really sturdy, and nice looking wooden box (so perfect for storing the essential oil bottles). If you buy a set, yours is likely to come in one of these boxes too, but you can also purchase most any of the Plant Therapy Oils in single bottles, some are available in a roll-on, and there are all kinds of kits (with a wood box for storage) that you can purchase too. Take a look at the website to learn more. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter and today I saw that they had a live YouTube feed running (so awesome!).

I always hear about these oils, but I haven't tried them yet. I need to try them out one day.

Great that they can be protected indeed. As Orlin would knock them over by the ton, don't even need kids here to do that lol

I've never used essential oils. I've heard a lot about tea tree and the many uses people have for it.

I love essential oils for using in a diffuser, I have to admit it has been a while since I bought some new ones and I've been thinking about what scents I could get soon. So this has really given me some ideas.

I've not done this either. I'm not much for smelly stuff. Hubby is even worse than me. I'm not sure this would be a good thing for me to have.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

I was also late to the essential oil game, but now I can't live without them. Jason used to roll his eyes, but once the peppermint also took his headache right away, he was hooked and no longer gripes when I buy them. These look like really nice oils!

I've received a few essential oils sprays as gifts, but I'm not sure how to use them. I'll follow your journey.

I love essential oils for aromatherapy but only a few scents like lemongrass, lavendar or eucalyptus. Other scents make me feel sick sometimes especially when it's on too strong!

I love essential oils because they really help with relaxation. The lavender and chamomile are our favorites. I would like to try new scents though. I think peppermint would be my next new bottle.

Thank you for sharing the information. Is there a local store that I can try out some oils? The only oils I'm familiar with is the ones we use as body oils (replacements for cologne).

Essential oils are starting to be popular in the market. They need to be placed in most of the stores already.

I clean with them, put them through a steamer, put them in my homemade laundry soap, and add drops to my dryer balls.
