The Star Movie due to release November 17th!

Disclosure: I will receive complimentary tickets to see the movie in exchange for this post and social media shares. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

The Star is the story of the 1st Christmas, told through the eyes of the animals! This adorable movie is brought to you from the studio that gave us Miracles from Heaven and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. If the trailer above is indicative of the rest of the movie, this one is sure to have you laughing, and loving (the characters) in an instant.

Christmas is a time to celebrate, and what better way to start the season than with a fun animated movie at the theater, with the family? You will recognize voices such as Patricia Heaton, Kelly Clarkson, Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, Tracy Morgan and more when watching the movie, as well as get to enjoy the beautiful sounds only Mariah Carey can provide as this all-star cast comes together to help create a movie everyone in the family can enjoy.

In Sony Pictures Animation's The Star, a small but brave donkey named Bo yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free, and finally goes on the adventure of his dreams. On his journey, he teams with Ruth, a loveable sheep who has lost her flock and Dave, a dove with lofty aspirations. Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star and become unlikely heroes in the greatest story ever told-the first Christmas.

Take a look at the website and introduce your kids to the characters before the movie even releases. There you'll find an interactive animated coloring book, an introduction to the characters, an activity center with all kinds of fun things for the kids to do including puzzles, holiday gift cards and even printable dioramas. They have pulled out all of the stops to make this website informative, and chock full of fun things for the kids to do before, and after you see the movie.

I love it when there's a wholesome, good-for-the-whole-family movie playing in theaters. We'll be headed out to see this one as soon as it opens. I think it's going to be a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season, and I'll be bringing along my daughter, granddaughter and youngest son. The Star really does looks so cute, I can't wait!! Learn more by visiting the website. You can also follow along on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram.

The Star looks like an interesting movie, one that kids would like. I too like it when there a movie the entire family could watch together. We love to watch the Star Wars Movies together.

I love these kind of movies that the whole family can enjoy, my hubby thinks I like them more than the Children. I love that they have teaching moments in them.
