Any weekend that baby grand is in the house is a
good great one. This weekend we did lots of fun things, with more to continue today, but when she woke up at 6 a.m. (that's my girl) I wanted to find something quiet for us to do. Enter the Magic Sketch.
My favorite thing about the Magic Sketch, designed to allow kids to be able to learn, sketch, draw and play, is that it does offer a variety of things for them to do. That makes it perfect for time at home, in the car (it's not messy like markers, crayons, etc.), or even a visit with grandma. ;) It gives them something productive to do on their own or with friends/family and it can be fun, educational or both!
There are a good number of stencils included, and you can create your own. There are 20 stencils for learning, 20 for games, and 20 for Art. Simply slide them through the side of the Magic Sketch and the see-through cover allows you to see them/write over them/whatevs you'd like to do!
My second favorite thing about Magic Sketch is that it is kid-friendly. These are far more durable than a tablet. They can be dropped, tossed, and even stepped on and they are not supposed to break. They are also water resistant, so little spills are not going to be a tragedy like they would be with other similar items.
My granddaughter had a grand ol' time drawing pictures on it while she was at our house this weekend. The 'magic' crystal screen allows you to draw whatever you like (using a stencil or freehand), and then...
like magic it disappears when you push that little black button on the bottom-center of the device. More good news? The battery lasts 7 years, so you don't have to worry about replacing it all of the time (let me hear a collective hurrah! from parents everywhere ;) ).
What's included in the box? You get the Magic Sketch with protective case, 4 styluses, 60 stencils, 1 roller and 3 stamps. You can learn more by visiting the website. One lucky reader gets one to call their own! US entrants only.
