Every parent knows that getting your kids to brush their teeth (and brush them well!) can be a hassle, but Colgate just made “brush-time” easier. The new toothbrush makes oral hygiene fun, teaching your child to be a better brusher with help from their favorite character’s voices. The toothbrush is available with either a Minions or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle theme and features:
- Brush Coach- Characters coach your child through two minutes of brushing and congratulate them when finished
- Quadrant Timer- Characters tell your child when to move to and brush each quadrant of their mouth (Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Right)
- 2 Minute Timer- Characters inform your child when 2 minutes of brushing is up and congratulate them on a job well done. Dentists recommend brushing your teeth for 2 minutes.
My son has been asking me to brush at the same time he does these days, so we can switch quadrants at the same time, lol. It's a silly way to bond, but we're all about silly in this house. ;) I love that these toothbrushes go the extra mile to make brush time awesome. Taking care of those teeth is of highest importance. Whether you have a child who likes to brush, or one who needs a little encouragement, the toothbrushes from this Colgate line are going to be a big hit. Stock up and buy them for gifts. We did! Available in major retail stores.
haha adding a little extra fun is a win. Good his teeth are now normal as can be, no fun with crummy cavities and such.
ReplyDeleteWe have well water too, and I dentist insists on a fluoride rinse daily, which we do, and so far, only Mariah has had a microscopic cavity. These toothbrushes look like a lot of fun and a great way to encourage healthy oral hygiene.
ReplyDeleteThis is cute. We used to threaten our kids with the punishment of not being allowed to brush their teeth when they misbehaved. As a result, we never had trouble getting them to brush their teeth.
ReplyDeleteI love that you two are brushing together! So cute! I agree these brushes are a great way to making brushing fun. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is good. I want every child to be encouraged to brush well!
ReplyDeleteAnything to make brushing a little more fun and engaging! These are very cute toothbrushes, I can see why kids love them.
ReplyDeleteThose are great! As a mom of five, I have plenty of experience with getting kids to brush their teeth. You HAVE to make it fun if you want to maintain your sanity.
ReplyDeleteThe new Brush Coach toothbrushes do sound great to help kids with their oral health. We have similar toothbrushes that have a two minute timer.
ReplyDeleteI like to have these on hand to give as gifts. I think they make brushing fun and all kids seem to love them, plus having a timer is a great tool to make life easier for parents.
