The Brand for a Fresh Makeup Look: ModelsOwn

Sculpt & Glow Liquid Highlighter
Those of you who go way back (and thank you for being so consistent with your visits, I definitely appreciate it!) may remember my post about my daughter always changing up her hair. It's not something she outgrew, and now that she is a freshman in college, and no longer a kid, she's still one to always change her look. It's just something she enjoys doing. For now, it's orange (hair). How long that will last? I wouldn't hold my breath! Now, I'll admit when I hear the word 'orange,' it instantly alarms me (I'm far more conventional than she is), but I really like it! The thing is, even though she is now a young adult her skin hasn't quite outgrown blemishes, so she needs a good coverage with her make-up (even if highlighter...and eyebrows, which she also loves doing right now...are the only make-up she is wearing).

Model's Own Sculpt & Glow Liquid Highlighter covers with a natural look. Beautifully smooth, it glides on effortlessly and leaves her skin looking blemish free (well, except for that earring, but that's a story for another day and time, and she's all grown up and able to make her own decisions, so never mind...see, I told you, I'm more conservative than she). Earring or not, she's beautiful to me (make-up or none), and this highlighter allows her to leave the house with a look that has her feeling confident about her skin, even on the days when a zit decides to visit (lol, zits happen).

Copper Lustre Colour Chrome Eyeshadow Kit
Another sweetheart and gal we think is beautiful in our family has decided she's taken a liking to my boy (he's grown too). Rumor has it he's pretty fond of her too. ;) On her eyes here is the Model's Own Colour Chrome Eyeshadow Kit that you can find at Ulta.

She loves it, and said it was easy to apply and stayed on all day. I've never seen a kit like this in person, I've only seen the chrome look online, and I have to say it's pretty cool! You get a little bag that houses a primer, the metallic shadow, and a mixing tray. The color here is Copper Lustre. I love that it really makes your eyes stand out, that seems to be the trend right now, and if I was younger, you can bet I'd be rocking it too. At my age, I don't want to draw attention to creases and wrinkles (see, the conservative thing, yet again), but for those of you who are still able to flaunt your youth, by all means please do, and be sure to check into the line of makeup at Models Own. They've got a lot of really fun options that think outside of the box.

Whether it's shadow, highlighter, eyeliner, skin care, something for your lips, or even nail polish (they have a mirror manicure I'm definitely going to buy...[hey, I'm conservative, but not that conservative (yet)], Model's Own should be a go-to on your list. They have everything you need to style your look, and more. It's really an extensive line worth visiting. I know our girls were happy with their items, and I hope that you will try them too. You can learn more by visiting the Models Own website.  You can also follow them on Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter.

My make-up products have changed since I hit this decade. Fortunately, my daughter understands so much. I should rec-md this product to her!

Makes it all the better when the items work and one is happy with them. Orange hair is better than orange skin and green hair. If she went oompa loompa, then I'd worry lol

My daughter has recently began using highlighter. She says I should use it, too. I might give this one a try.

Allison did her hair gray this summer, but it didn't last long. Now, she's a bleach blonde lol. We'll redye it this weekend so she can go back to school with her normal hair color though. This makeup does sound wonderful. I'd especially love to try that sparkly eye kit!

This is right inline with my style. Well, I like to stay as neutral and fresh as I can. Thanks for sharing this brand.

Although I do not use make up that often, I think this Models Own cosmetics line would be a nice one to try. I haven't used a highlighter yet, because I don't know how to use it. Haha. Seriously, I think I would need the help of my daughter to teach me how to use make up!

New make-up always makes me feel excited about getting myself dolled up. The ladies in your family look lovely!

I dyed my hair a bunch as a young adult. I never tried orange, but your daughter looks cute. The make-up is a fun way to change up your look also.

I may want to use this, I have used the same brand for cover up (both liquid and powder, as that's all I wear for makeup) since I was young. I am noticing that it's not doing as well with my face now and wanted to try a new foundation/coverup!

I'll show this to my daughter. She always wants to take my makeup, would like to get her some of her own things to use.

I love makeup that doesn't make you look too made up. It looks like this line is perfect for achieving a natural look.

This is the first time I heard about this brand of make up. I don't usually wear make up but if I do, I always go for the "no make up make up look" and stick to earth tones and nude shades for lipstick. I will share this post with my daughter. I am sure she will be interested to get some ModelsOwn products.

My sister would like these.

She looks great! I'm not huge on lots of makeup, but have always enjoyed some just as accents.
