|Sculpt & Glow Liquid Highlighter|
Those of you who go way back (and thank you for being so consistent with your visits, I definitely appreciate it!) may remember my post about my daughter always changing up her hair. It's not something she outgrew, and now that she is a freshman in college, and no longer a kid, she's still one to always change her look. It's just something she enjoys doing. For now, it's orange (hair). How long that will last? I wouldn't hold my breath! Now, I'll admit when I hear the word 'orange,' it instantly alarms me (I'm far more conventional than she is), but I really like it! The thing is, even though she is now a young adult her skin hasn't quite outgrown blemishes, so she needs a good coverage with her make-up (even if highlighter...and eyebrows, which she also loves doing right now...are the only make-up she is wearing).
Model's Own Sculpt & Glow Liquid Highlighter covers with a natural look. Beautifully smooth, it glides on effortlessly and leaves her skin looking blemish free (well, except for that earring, but that's a story for another day and time, and she's all grown up and able to make her own decisions, so never mind...see, I told you, I'm more conservative than she). Earring or not, she's beautiful to me (make-up or none), and this highlighter allows her to leave the house with a look that has her feeling confident about her skin, even on the days when a zit decides to visit (lol, zits happen).
|Copper Lustre Colour Chrome Eyeshadow Kit|
Another sweetheart and gal we think is beautiful in our family has decided she's taken a liking to my boy (he's grown too). Rumor has it he's pretty fond of her too. ;) On her eyes here is the Model's Own Colour Chrome Eyeshadow Kit that you can find at Ulta.
She loves it, and said it was easy to apply and stayed on all day. I've never seen a kit like this in person, I've only seen the chrome look online, and I have to say it's pretty cool! You get a little bag that houses a primer, the metallic shadow, and a mixing tray. The color here is Copper Lustre. I love that it really makes your eyes stand out, that seems to be the trend right now, and if I was younger, you can bet I'd be rocking it too. At my age, I don't want to draw attention to creases and wrinkles (see, the conservative thing, yet again), but for those of you who are still able to flaunt your youth, by all means please do, and be sure to check into the line of makeup at Models Own. They've got a lot of really fun options that think outside of the box.
