This man standing upside down, way up there like that was just one of many excellent feats the group of Cirque du Soleil performed in the OVO show we went to see this weekend at BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.
From breathtaking aerial acrobatics, to awesome juggling, a bee swatting skit that left us in stitches, and even a man riding a unicycle on a tight rope (and then flipping upside down) to pedal with his hands, this is not a show to be missed. I took a group aged 9-24 and they ALL enjoyed it. Had I taken a grandparent, they would have had a great time too. It is truly a show that transcends generations and offers 2 hours of amazement for absolutely anyone and everyone to enjoy.
The show is a combination love story, comedy and entertainment-filled 2 hours that you will love start to finish.
The Cirque du Soleil was formed in 1984 from a group of 20 street performers It is a major Quebec-based organization that provided high-quality artistic entertainment. The company has close to 4,000 employees, including 1,300 artists from more than 50 different countries.
The show is headed to Miami next, and if you're in the area, I strongly encourage you to go. No one does this kind of show like Cirque du Soleil. The entertainment they provide in their genre is second to none, and OVO was a blast start to finish.
