Expanded Line of Delectable Lickable Treats from Hartz (plus a chance to score free treats)

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Delectables now has a new line of Lickable Treats for kittens!!! We love and use Hartz products for our cat, and we were happy to share of them with our guest kitty too, when he was here. Said cat belongs to my granddaughter and while she was on vacation, we got to watch him. What fun that was, and how different her feline was from ours. We love them both!!

Our cat is lazy, lol. Oh don't get me wrong, he loves to be pet, a lot, but he's had a hard life (long before we knew him) and he's old... so maybe docile is a better word? He likes to lie in the sun, chase lizards that get in the house (he's pretty good at it too, considering he only has sight in one eye!) and rub heads with my son. In fact, he loves to connect like that with my boy. Have you ever seen that scene in Tarzan where he's rubbing heads w/the lion? That's exactly what goes on in our house daily. But our guest kitty is still young, and frisky and spry. He actually likes cat nip, and toys; he chases his shadow; and he likes to claw and bite my couch, which I think he assumes is a scratching post (even when I put a sheet over it). -_-

He also liked to get into mischief. I was bagging up clothes to donate and he crawled into my bag and parked it so I could get no more work done. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. And he had no remorse whatsoever about it.

Hansy's (short for Hansel from Hansel and Gretel) mom sent along some food and treats for kitty, but we decided to give him some of our Delectables too. These Hartz Lickable Treats were a huge hit with him, to say the least. He knows the sound of his food dish, and any time these came out he was running even before he heard that dish moving. Makes me laugh just to think about it.

The Hartz Mountain Corporation announces the expansion of the popular Delectables Lickable Treats, the first wet cat treat line, with five new flavors including Bisque Kitten with Tuna, Bisque Kitten with Tuna & Chicken, Stew with Chicken & Veggies, Bisque with Tuna & Veggies and Chowder with Tuna & Veggies.

Delectables Lickable Treats, available in 1.4 ounce pouches with three unique and delicious textures including stews, bisques and chowders, was launched in January 2015.  "Delectables Lickable Treats for cats is a new and better way to treat your cat and make them happy because it is super delicious and easy to eat," says Lester Ding, Brand Manager.

"We have expanded our line to address the unique nutritional needs and taste preferences of kittens with Kitten Life stage," says Ding.  "Our three additional vegetable-centric additions are appealing treats made with real chicken, tuna and vegetables and are ideal for cat parents who love to pamper their pets."

Ideal as an in-between meal treat or as a savory topper for dry food, Delectables Lickable Treats' convenient, single-serve pouches provide cats with tempting treats made with real chicken, seafood, and vegetables. Delectables Lickable Treats are available in multiple varieties including regular, life stage (for cats 10+ and 15+ years old and now for kittens up to 12 months old) and in 5 and 12-pack variety packs.

Hansy's gone home now. We took him back over the weekend. As one last caper before he left, he headbutted his way out of his zipper carrier, and found his way on to the front seat of the car when I was driving him home. Silly cat. We're sure going to miss him.

A big thank you to Hartz though, for making sure he ate well while he was here!

Delectables Lickable Treats is also excited to announce "Empty Bowl," a national advertising campaign for the second half of 2017.  It will include a targeted national TV commercial as well as digital and social media campaigns.  On Hartz's Facebook,Twitter, and Instagram pages, consumers are invited to share photos and videos of how crazy fast their cats lick up Delectables using hashtags #lickitloveit, #emptybowl, and #catsgocrazy4Delectables, and they will participate in weekly drawings for a chance to win Delectables Lickable Treats.  Be on the lookout over on their social media pages to learn more.

  4. I wish I wasn't allergic. I'd have kitties to love here. I miss having them too. The last cat I had was a very picky eater. I wonder if she would have liked this? Probably.

    Have a terrific day. ☺

  5. What a great way to spoil kitties! I don't have any pet kitties at this time, but back in the day I had a furry son named Tiger who was a large Maine Coon kitty. I would totally get these products for him.

  6. This line of food sounds perfect for my two cats. They are pretty picky eaters, but they are not happy with my current food. Maybe it is time for a change.

  13. My cats are not picky eaters, and boy, do they eat! I am afraid they are now overweight. LOL. Anyway, I'd get them these Delectables. However, I will have to manage their portions. An overweight cat means trips to the vet!
