These Selections from Silver Dolphin Books are Simply Magical

NOT your average book!
Wait until you see how cool these are...I think you'll love them!
Silver Dolphin Books has a lot of great selections for the kids, that has always been the case, but these books I'm going to show you here are the most interactive books I've seen that are non-technology and the kids just LOVE them!

The first book, Noah's Ark is your standard 9.84" x 9.84" hard cover book. The illustrations are great and the story re-tells the famous one a lot of us are familiar with from the Bible.

The outside 'holder' of the book is really a big 3D fold-out that turns into an ark. There are cardboard punch outs galore of the characters and animals from the story. This makes play time extra special because it allows the kids to play out and elaborate on what they are reading.

It's great for the imagination, and the perfect way to get the children interested in and engaged in learning and/or reading. Fortunately most children love to read to begin with, so if you're gifting this to someone it's very likely going to be received very well.

All Aboard the Pirate Ship operates under the same concept. The case serves as a 'pirate ship' that the kids put together. It also has a good number of cardboard pop-outs that children can use or build as the story progresses. This book is about a boy who loves the idea of being a pirate, and he sneaks upon a ship to see if he has what it takes to really be one because not only is it a book...but it's a book they can play with too.

The instructions to put these books together are very easy. They are suggested for ages 5 and up, but I'll let you know my son loved them and he's almost 10-years-old and my granddaughter who just turned 4 a month ago is also a huge fan.

Speaking of my granddaughter, you can see from the birthday card next to this book, that she is the one who received the Beauty and the Beast rendition. I knew she would love it because she does like to put things together, reading is one of her favorite things, and a lot of pieces to a gift makes her happy.

This book takes the cake when it comes to having a lot of pieces and parts for our little darling, and my granddaughter has played with this one about a million times. In fact, when she called me the other day she was about to play with it again. Her mama keeps it all in a bag so it stays together. Older kids can simply keep it inside of the 'case.' The book stores in there safely too.

The illustrations in the book are as cute as they can be, drawn in a style that is very appealing for the littles,

and then of course it is Beauty and the Beast... the classic, timeless story that has and will continue to live on for generations to come.

The photo above shows some of the pieces, and you can see how they connect with the mini cardboard stands. It's sturdy cardboard that doesn't bend easily, even after a lot of handling, and that's a good thing.

Of course the case for this one is a castle. What else would it be? :)  It's adorable, isn't it? This is sure to be a hit with any child you know. It's surely a big hit here.
