Father's Day is June 18: Are You Ready? 2 Great Gift Ideas!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

My oldest is a grill master. Not only does he make the main meat dishes that everyone loves, but he also can make some pretty tasty foil packs full of veggies. It's something he loves to do, and he knows that everyone else around him enjoys the fruits of his labor too. One of the things he most loves to make, of course, is steak. We're about to hit the rainy season where I live (I say "about ," but by the looks of things this week, surely we're already in it), and while that cools things off, it also means grilling isn't going to happen. I've found a solution! The Family Size Steak Stone allows him to cook right at his table. Say what??? Yep, right at his table. THIS is a perfect Father's Day gift idea.

This is going to be fun for him whether he's cooking dinner for his ladies (I say plural because my sweet granddaughter likes to eat her daddy's cooking), or if he's entertaining. It is my guess, and I know him pretty well, that he's going to love it. I'm giving it to him on June 18th, because I think he's a pretty awesome dad. ;)

The Good Cooking Family Size Steak Stone Serving Set is the perfect gift for the steak-loving Dad. Cook meat, fish, vegetables and more right at the dinner table! It’s also very simple to use--just heat your steak stone in the oven, remove and place on the stainless-steel tray and bamboo platter! Made from hand-crafted basalt stone, the steak stone is easy to clean and a safe way to enjoy your favorite meals. Also, available as a family size serving set with an extra-large basalt stone, or deluxe serving set with a ceramic side dish and 3 ceramic sauce cups. Available for purchase on Amazon, mygoodcooking.com and scsdirectinc.com. Retail Price: $79.95.

The second idea I have for a Father's Day gift also has to do with cooking (hey, we like our food in this family!). :)  It is the Himalyan Salt Grilling Slab. This is great whether you are grilling or serving it chilled for cold foods. It's a different way to cook up moist, flavorful food that will leave your guests oohing and ahhing over the unique taste, and it's sure to have them asking for seconds. The reviews on this are phenomenal. It seems everyone who tries cooking this way, absolutely loves it.

If your Dad loves to cook then this all natural, FDA approved Himalayan Salt Slab is the perfect addition to their grilling essentials.  This pure salt tile is perfect for gourmet cooking, such as grilling, searing and cooking meat, fish and vegetables, that seasons your food while you grill. Preheat on your grill and cook your food right on top for moist, flavorful results. You can also chill the block to use as a serving dish for cold appetizers. The Himalayan Salt Slab is a unique and beautiful way to serve and display appetizers when entertaining. When you are done, simply allow the block to cool, wipe with a moist cloth or scrape any areas with glazed on food clean, dry, and store in a cool, dry place. Himalayan Salt naturally resists the growth of bacteria. Available for purchase on Amazon, cameronsproducts.com and specialty retailers nationwide. Retail Price: $24.99.

Either of these gift ideas would be great on their own.
Gift them together, and you're hitting a homerun in the gift-giving department.
Give dad the gifts he'll love... and reap the benefits from the great meals he will create! :)

  15. This does look like a great gift to give! Does your own Dad live around there? My parents are so wonderful - they help watch the kids a few days a week. Thankfully camp is coming up for the rest of June. July Mica has a babysitting class, so hopefully he'll be able to stay home some.
