What's a Bada Board? Perfect for Summer Travel

Disclosure: We received a Bada Board to review. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

When I first heard of the Bada Board, I thought it was going to be made of plastic. I'm not sure why the word 'board' in its name didn't tip me off that it was going to be cardboard (duh!) but just the same that's how it played out. So, I was surprised when it arrived, but still of course, decided to give it a go. Turns out being made of cardboard makes it perfect for tucking in and taking it wherever you go! We have folded ours and tucked it into the backseat car pocket when we've gone on trips, and used it for coloring, writing, a game of Bingo, and playing the DS. Some things are a lot easier to do when there is a Bada Board to hold your items.

The board opens to be just a little bit bigger than my son's laptop (Bada Boards measure 15" x 0.5" x 9") so it's perfect for him to sit on the couch and do his homework too. His school requires a certain amount of logged time onto a program they do that he can finish in the classroom, or when he's at home. Having the computer on his lap with no surface is difficult because the bottom of the laptop can get warm. Putting it on the table doesn't work because he's not comfy that way, bending over to use it.

With the Bada Board he can simply have a seat on the couch, get cozy and happy, and get to going on those assignments. I'll be honest, he's not a big fan of that program they make all of the students do, but having the Bada Board made it a little more fun (and a lot more convenient). It also made him happy to have one with two cute puppies on the surface. There are many designs to choose from, including some that you can color yourself.

We like our Bada Board. The cardboard is sturdy enough that it's going to last a good long while, and like I said, it's perfect for the car when we're on the road for long stretches of time too. I foresee this board being used quite a bit in the car this summer.

What a great idea. I love this and had a similar problem a few weeks ago with my laptop. It does get mighty warm.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

I totally need one of these for myself. I use my laptop on my lap while sitting on the couch all the time!

Great idea! When I'm drawing something on my lap, I like to use a large flat object as a base for my paper. The Bada Board sounds like a great object.

That is awesome! I work from my laptop almost exclusively, and this will make it a lot easier on me.

OH gosh we need this bada board for sure. The kids would be totally entertained on our road trips. WE plan to take a road trip this summer ... thanks for the product recommendation!

I could really use one of these especially since I work at home. I usually take a break from sitting in my computer chair because it hurts my back but I've to keep working as well. This could help!

Anything portable that my son can do on our many road trips this summer is a positive. This looks great.

This would be perfect for car trips. My girls like to do those adult coloring books when we are on the road and this would really help keep the books steady.

This sounds and looks like a handy product for me. I will check it out some more.

That is so great! My kids and I could all use this. My oldest loves to draw, so it would help him when we travel, and it would be nice for me to have a stable "table" for my laptop when I'm on the couch.

The Bada Board looks useful when traveling especially with kids. They can use it as a table when inside the car.

This is such a great idea. I could definitely get some use out of this for my laptop on the couch.

This would be great for the 2 that are homeschooled. They have used those plastic lap desks but they get hot and things slide off easily.

That does look great. I got one that's like a mini table for my laptop, but it's too big and cumbersome. This looks easier.

looks good! I had one similar but we broke it quite fast:/ this one looks really good

That looks perfect for blogging too!
I can't believe how grown he looks these days!

He is shooting up so fast (skipped a whole clothing size!). He looks short to me here though, with his legs not reaching the end of the couch. ;)
