Fotor Pro: A Year's Worth of Photo Editing and so Much More for Under $40!!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Edits, collages, graphic design, HDR, retouching, stickers, frames, and so much more!
Fotor is ideal if you are a photo lover like I am. You can opt for the free version, or go all out and purchase the Pro Fotor account which enables you to do so many things with the photos you love, or might love if just an alteration or two (or twenty!) could be made. The best part, it's under $40 for an annual subscription! That's a whole lot of photo tweaking and creating that you could do because with this program, the options are endless! With Fotor Pro you can edit, create a collage, or you can use the 'design' feature to create fun (and useful!) items like social media covers/art, headers and covers, graphic shorts, banner ads, event cards and posters, and so so so much more!

Original Photo.
Could def. use some editing help!
Taking my turn at playing around with the features on Pro Fotor was fun. Over the weekend I took a picture of my oldest son and his family. My youngest son was sitting on his lap, and he was pouting ("ugh, another picture, mom?"), while big bro was definitely enjoying a piece of birthday cake (classic! I should keep it 'as is' and frame it because it's 'real,' everyday life, which is always my favorite kind of picture) but the gals looks so cute on the other end, that I thought I'd try and crop and edit to see if I could make the photo look good with just the two of them in it (my apologies to the fellas).

Here is a basic edit (cropping).
I left the dessert in the picture because baby grand is eyeballing it and that makes me giggle.
My granddaughter has recently cut her own hair (again, classic, ha! all of the girls seem to do that to themselves and to their baby dolls), so this is one of my first pictures of her with shorter hair (it was touching her waistline before she cut it!). For the record, I think she looks adorable either way (bet you knew that already). The background was very washed out from the flash being on though, so I wanted to see if I could use Fotor to edit that out, or make it look better.

I tried the black and white color change, and it did a great job of fixing the background. I decided to keep the color version though, because I missed the pretty Spring colors on my granddaughter's dress. :)

I played around with the brightness, contrast, shadows and exposure and came up with this one. It did wash the background out more, which I wanted, but I cropped it too much on the side and you can't see the cake (imperative if making this a single photo, I think, to show little one's main point of interest). Plus, the colors just didn't look natural to me. Experiment and learn, right? And with Fotor that's easy because each edit takes only a few seconds to try.

In the end, I decided to  soften the colors and focus of everything, and make a collage (you might notice my youngest is growing his hair out...after much pleading for many months, I finally conceded to let him give that a go). :) There were many templates to choose from, and I could write my own caption, use their caption (which I did here), write on each photo within the collage, tilt the photos, flip them (and do the same with the shapes in the collage), etc. Fotor's website is very user-friendly and this post shows just the tip of the iceberg for fun things to do. I absolutely cannot wait to explore the site more.

Curious to give it a go on your photos too? You can use the free Fotor account, or opt for the annual Pro Fotor account that I chose for just $39.99 a year. Because there are so many options and features on the pro account, I highly recommend it. The cost is worth it and then some, considering all you can (and definitely will!) create.  You can learn more by visiting the website. You can also follow them on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and/or Instagram.
