|I had one of my daughter's Senior Photos engraved on a locket.|
I love it so so so much!
Pictures on Gold does not make your standard locket. There is no cutting and pasting a photo to fit inside of the heart-shaped space. Nope...no sireee. It's better. Way better. The photo you choose is etched on gold, so it's staying put always, never fading, and you can't mess it up by cutting it wrong to fit. The picture I selected for this locket is one of my daughter's Senior Pictures and I could not be happier with how the final product turned out.
Normally I would delicately type around the words 'my daughter' if I was trying to hide this post from my own because she once told me she puts those words in my search engine to see what I've written about her. ;) This time though, even though this was suppposed to be a graduation present in June, I won't disguise the words because I gave it to her for Thanksgiving.
It was just so beautiful I couldn't help myself. And what did she say when showing it off? "I got it early because Mom is impatient," hahahahaa. It's true. I admit it. I'm just terrible about holding on to a great gift and always want to give it to the kids in the rigth here and now! This one was worth it though, and I have no regrets about passing it on too soon. It was too good of a secret to keep.
I put her monogram on the front of it, and two special messages...one on the inside and one on the back. You can write whatever you want, it is truly customizable. The engraving is easy to see and very nicely done. You can choose your font, placement and size.
You can also select the size and type of chain that you like best. The whole process of creating this locket is very simple. I was literally done in minutes.
The quality of the necklace is top of the line. I highly recommend Pictures on Gold to anyone looking to make a piece of jewelry.
