Meet Dash the Robot by Wonder Workshop

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

It's never too early to start teaching the kids about coding. Fortunately, Dash the Robot by Woder Workshop also makes sure that the learning is fun.

A cute little blue guy named Dash, this miniature robot teaches children all about coding and they don't even realize that they're learning because playing with it is just downright fun. Kids use a compatible electronic device and the free app to program what it is they want Dash to do. Before you know it, in no time at all, Dash will be singing, dancing and maneuvering his way around your house, all at the hands (and specifications) of your child's coding. Talk about tee-heeing and giggling. Wait until the first time you don't suspect Dash to be following you into the kitchen, and then bursting into song when you don't even know he's there. Talk about dropping the cookies! ;)  OR wait until you see the look on the family cat's face when he realizes there's a new cat, er um, robot in town. Code the robot to follow the cat and all kinds of laughing is going to take place.

Kids can also record their voice, so one of the times Dash is responding to a noise or movement, he will be doing it with a statement your son or daughter has programmed him to say. Something like, "Move it or Lose it" would make me laugh because I say that one all of the time. Not sure where that saying originated from, another generation, I suppose because I remember my mom and my grandparents saying it too.

Dash is fun all on his own, but you can purchase accessories to go with him if you like, such as the launcher you see above. Watch in awe as the kids program the robot to play, and he does so well, flawlessly launching those balls in the triangles to knock them down. This is the kind of 'toy' you buy that keeps on giving for a long time because it's got stick-to-it-tude. That means the kids are going to want to take it out time and time again, for a very long time to come.

Dash the Robot, by Wonder Workshop, is fun to play with on your own, with a friend, or even in a group. It has won a whole slew of accolades, including Toy of the Year from Oppenheim. Learn more by visiting the website. You can also follow along on Facebook and/or Twitter.
