Thermos knows that different people have different lifestyles, that's why they have something literally for everyone. Filtration bottles, hot and/or cold thermos bottles (or combos), coolers, and even an infant and toddler line, just to name a few...are some of the products they have to offer.
I for one, was surprised at how thoroughly they have evolved over the years. Or maybe they've always had such an extensive line and I just found out about it. :) In any case, I'm going to showcase three of their items, and if you're shopping for anyone who packs a lunch, has a child, works out regularly, or any other scenario where a Thermos item might be needed, then this post will be of great interest to you. :)
One new-to-me item they have that I think is downright dandiful is the Thermos Vacuum Insulated Dual Compartment Food Jar. One side holds whatever it is you would like to keep hot (for up to 5 hours) and the other clear side holds what you want to stay cold (for up to 7 hours). The hot side holds 16 oz., the cold side holds 20 oz.
The container folded together locks into place. When it's open, you'll find a little compartment (snap-in) that permanently stores your stainless steel spork.
The spork too, folds up nice and neat. I love everything about this for taking my lunch to work Soup and salad anyone? And oh yes, the soup stays hot and the salad stays crispy and cold. THIS is a wonderful Thermos invention.
If you can't get enough of this little beauty, like I cannot, here is a picture of it opened. It's just so practical and takes restrictions off of what you can and cannot take to lunch with you. I like that, a lot.
And here is a photo of it closed so you can see that too. This is a fantastic gift idea. Something so many people would like, but might not even know exists. It's definitely a useful item, and it's a Thermos, so you know the quality is outstanding.
The 16 oz. vacuum insulated travel mug is wonderful for taking your coffee on the go. There's a tea clip too, to firmly hold your tea bag in place, if you would rather take that instead!! I know the population in larger part is split between the two...either you're a coffee drinker or a tea drinker, but me? I like 'em both! This travel mug comes in different colors (I'm loving that Raspberry color), and it is thinner at the bottom, so it will fit in most automobile cup holders. And lets talk about handles. This is a nice, sturdy handle that protrudes out, so it's easy to grab and hold, even if you're not looking at it (I'm thinking of myself reaching down to grab my coffee while I'm driving).
The top has a twist closure so it won't spill or leak if it gets tumbled over. It's insulated so it works well with cold drinks too. In fact if you have something cold, it's sweat proof and if you have something hot, it stays cool to the touch.
The 16 oz. food jar with a folding spoon is great too, if you're just wanting to take a single thing along with you while you are on the go, be it liquid or solid. That means last night's homemade macaroni and cheese can be heated up and enjoyed again the next day on the job. No microwave required.
Any of these would be welcome gifts for a co-worker, boss, spouse, etc. Many people pack their lunches or have the need to bring food/drinks along with them when they're on the go. What better way to do so than with the Thermos brand?
You can learn more about all of the products Thermos has to offer (and there are tons) by visiting their website. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter. I just saw an R2D2 drinking bottle on their Facebook page, I'm definitely headed over to the site to get a closer look. :)
If you pick up a Thermos items for someone for Christmas, come on over and let me know would ya? It's a good idea, right? :) Happy shopping!
