Toys for Boys: 33 Days Until Christmas!

My son has a group of friends who come over several times a week to play. Usually because there are so many of them, they take their games out into the backyard. One of their favorite things to do (in the title of this post, I noted that these are 'boy' toys, but the girls play too!) is take out my son's toy gun collection and play teams against one another. Oh the drama they do too... all of course, in the name of good fun. It's hysterical to watch, and evidently very fun to do. So...for Christmas,  I have decided to add two new plastic weapons to his aresenal. The first is the Dart Zone Blitzfire Quick Shot Blasters 2-pack. These are available only at Target, which isn't a problem because I know so many of you love that store, (just like I do).

This is one of my favorites of the Dart Zone set because like I noted, we have a backyard full of kids who are using them, so the more choices the better (for avoiding arguments over who is getting 'the best' one, among other things). This is a duo, so....to me it's like getting two for the price of one. Plus it adds more choices for them, and they do say variety is the spice of life, right? :)

The kit comes with 12 Super Darts, and both blasters have an auto-advance rotating cyclinder so you can load and shoot very quickly. That's important when you're on a team becuase the side who loses is subject to a lot of cheering from the winners...and you don't want to be a part of that, no sir you do not. :)

Both blasters have flip-up target sites to help you get your shot. They shoot up to 80 ft. so they're a good bet to put in  a competitive game. These are made by Prime Time Toys. You can visit their website to brose their huge selection of various types of toys. You can also visit them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

The second addition I've gotten for his arsenal is the Zing Air Storm Firetek Crossbow that can be used night and day. The zarts shoot up to 45 ft., opening up opportunities for your child to have all kinds of shooting/target fun!

The crossbow set comes with the crossbow, three zartz arrows and a mega target. It is a good way to help the kids practice their aim while having a great time too. I'm sure this will be an item the kids all want to try out, and it will add a new dimension to their games that they are not currently able to experience. It has a scope, a safety, a power grip and a Fire Glow LED (to use in the p.m.). You can find this at various retailers and online at Amazon. It is recommended for children ages 8+

This crossbow is made by Zing Toys where you will find a huge selection of items for sale that your kiddos are going to love. You can learn more by visiting their website. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

Be sure to check out both sites for potential Black Friday and/or Cyber Monday savings!

  3. We love all things Zing! And my son loves doing battle in the apartment building hallway on our floor. Whenever the boys come over, they ransack the armory (an inside bin where we have our weaponry) and then play in the hall!
