Handstand Kitchen: Cookies for Santa Baking Kit with #Giveaway

The Handstand Kitchen is a great place to shop when you are looking for super cute and useful items that are excellent for encouraging children to want to help out in the kitchen. This Cookies for Santa kit I'm going to talk about is really going to come in handy during the holidays for us this year!

It all comes neatly packed in a little kit, and this particular one has everything you will need to make Christmas cookies with the littles. It doesn't just limit you to a few things either, with this kit you can do the simple (of course) but you can also get downright creative!

Make holiday cookie baking a family tradition and turn your little chef into a baking pro. 18 piece complete cookie making set includes, 4 cookie cutters, 4 cookie presses, cookie turner, frosting bottle, spatula, mixing spoon, pastry brush and 5 recipe cards.

Some of these items we have used before in the kitchen, especially during the holidays, but this particular type of cookie press was new to my youngest son, and he loved it. It was easy to use and the cookies came out perfect, every single time.

You can see in the picture that even the intricate designs on the press show up on the finished product. That will make it really easy to decorate sugar cookies at Christmas time (and we will!). Since it's only October now though, we decided to make chocolate chip cookies. :)

These are perfect bite-sized cookies that will be just right for kids. The entire kit is geared towards children and is a great way to get them involved in the kitchen. They'll love having a cooking or baking set to call their own.

My favorite thing in the kit? The gingerbread man spatula!! I just love it, and it's now my most favorite spatula in the house (though we're going to reserve it for holiday cooking...so it stays special)!

G.B. (that's what we named our spatula, short for Mr. GingerBread) isn't just for the mini cookies though. These are some of the full-sized cookies we made, and you can see 'he' handled those with ease too.

At the end of the day, you can see from the container on the left that not all the cookies we made, ended up in storage. A cookie chef has got to have his or her samples, you know. ;)

Handstand Kitchen has other items for sale as well. To help get your kiddos making memories in the kitchen with you, they are kindly offering one of the following three kits to a very lucky mail4rosey winner. US entrants only.
