The directions say to hang it, spray it, smooth it, and come back to see that the wrinkles have disappeared.
So let's test it out. Here's the t-shirt, wrinkles and all, hanging on a hanger over the door. You can see there are wrinkles just from being folded up...especially on the left-hand side.
My son sprayed it, we tugged and smoothed it, and we walked away.
We came back in a few, and you can see, it really was a success story! The wrinkles are gone.
Look on the right-hand side of the photo above (this is the front view of the shirt). You can see the wrinkles still on the shirt where my son could not reach (he wasn't tall enough). It's really quite a contrast to the area that was sprayed with the Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus.
Now this isn't going to put creases in your pants or give you a starched collar...for those things you will still need to plug in your iron. It is a great substitute though for refreshing wrinkled clothes that have been in a drawer, getting wrinkles out of clothes before you go to work, doing crafts, preparing table settings, unwrinkling hanging curtains, etc. In fact, I can think of a whole lot of different uses for it, and I bet you can too.. The spray has a light fragrance to it, not at all unpleasant and it doesn't stain fabric. It comes in a variety of sizes (including one for travel). I'm loving this new discovery. It really is like an iron in a bottle!
