Winning Moves has Fun Variations on Family Game Favorites!

Winning Moves has BIG games. Classic fun games have taken a turn for the large. If Pass the Pigs is a fave, just wait until you try your hand at Pass the Big Pigs! It is designed for 2 or more players, and comes with 2 oversized foam pig dice, 1 oversized score pad, 1 large drawstring pouch, a pencil, illustrated instructions and Pass the Pigs history.

The object of the game is get the most points up to a pre-deternined score, by rolling your pigs. The way they land determines your points. You can roll as many times as you want, or you can pass at any time to secure the points you've earned. If you roll certain combinations, you can lose points, big time. My son has a thing for pigs and wants one for a pet, ha! No thanks, but this, with it's big ol' foam piggies is definitely a great alternative. :)

Winning Moves also offers the original and other variations of the game. It is designed for ages 7 and  up.

Another twist on a classic game favorite? Big Boggle!! It's very similar to the original 3-minute word game, with just a few changes you can view in the video below.

This game is one my son's teacher had in the classroom last year, so he is very excited to have it now in our home collection. Big Boggle is for 2 or more players, ages 8+.

Brynk is another fascinating game you can get from Winning Moves. The concept of the game is easy. You set up the teetering base, and build for as long as you can before it falls. We had a great time seeing who would be the one to topple the pieces. My son thought this game was great fun, and the bigger the structure got, the more he couldn't stop laughing. It didn't help that the weight makes the ball move, threatening to dump the pieces at a moment's notice. Every time it leaned, it sent him into hysterics.

You can take a look at the game in the video above. Brynk is for 2 or more players and is suggested for ages 7+ It comes with the game unit (that doubles as the storage container), balancing base, tri-slider piece, 42 plastic Brynk pieces and the instructions.

Winning Moves also offers  a selection of really fun card games. BrainSpin, one of their exclusives, is fun at home, but it'd be awesome in a classroom too. The object of the game is to describe what you see from the pictures on the cards. Everything will fly, as long as you can convince everyone else of what you see too! BrainSpin is for 2-10 players, ages 7+.

Water Works is the classic 70's original Leaky Pipe card game. It comes with 100 pipe cards, 8 wrenches and the instructions.

The object of the game is to be the first person to complete a pipeline from valve to spout. This game is for 2-4 players, ages 8+

All of these games are great! I can't even pick a favorite. Winning Moves has long been a favorite game website for our family. The selections are top-notch, the prices are reasonable, delivery time is fast, and customer service is second to none.

  3. Leaky pipe reminded me a game that Nokia once offered for some of it's model. I forgot the name of the game, but it has been one of my favorite games to pass by the time.

  4. Kids can never have enough toys. It's always good to hear these reviews from another mom. I'm always worried about choking hazards so I tend to pick toys that don't have small parts.

  14. I know Boggle and enjoy playing it. Big Boggle looks very challenging with those double-letter cubes. I wonder what the other diphthongs could be. I also know WaterWorks - another challenging game.

  17. You just reignited some awesome memories I have of Pass the Pigs. My 7th grade math teacher LOVED this game, but never had anyone to play it with him. So, he'd bribe me and my best friends to stay in the class during lunch period and play the game with him. Whoever won the round would get an extra credit point. Such fun times!

  35. Big Boggle is my most favorite game ever. I used to play it all the time with my mother. After playing it several times, we lost some pieces. We hunted everywhere for a place to get a new game. Now I know where to get it! Although my mother has passed and can't play it with me anymore, I'd love to get the game and play it with my teen kids.
