Who's Your (Label) Daddy?

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Aren't these dwarves on the labels so cute?
One of many styles available at Label Daddy.
My son took only one thing to school for show-and-tell that didnt come back home. Of course it was the one thing that didn't have a label on it, grrr. I knew it needed one too, but he'd asked just as we were on our way out the door...if he could take it. I agreed, and even said I should go get one of his Label Daddy labels, but I didn't want him (or me!) to be late, so we skipped it. I should have skipped the item...and then we would still have it. Lesson learned, label it or forget about taking it.

Of course, a label isn't 100% effective at making sure what goes out of the house, comes back into the house, but it does increase the odds a lot!

Label Daddy has so many types of labels too!!
Shoe labels, luggage labels, labels for clothes, lunch, camp... you name it (they've got it)!
One of my most favorite things about Label Daddy (besides the durability!) is that they offer so many different kinds of labels. You can get labels for your shoes, luggage, food containers, clothes, and even bigger household items like garbage cans!! That last one is next on my list since several of my neighbors have the same garbage can I do, and the garbage men like to just toss them in the yard after emptying. That means on windy days several garbage cans can be getting together for a chat in the street until their owners come home to break up the party. If the cans all look the same, it's hard to tell which one belongs to you!

Label Daddy has never let me down when it comes to holding up. I've been using them for several years now, and to tell you the truth, I don't even look at other label ads when they come in my e-mail. I have found a company I love, and they're my go-to shop now. I like that peace of mind because the quality of a label is NOT something you want to have to second guess.

My son is about to start a new sport. I'll definitely be creating one of the sports-oriented themes on a label, so he doesn't lose any of the gear he is required to bring in (and there's always gear required to bring in). It costs a small fortune to have the kids enrolled in most anything, so you definitley want to make sure the items you've purchased come and go without the worry that they'll get lost or mistaken by someone else to be their own. Back in my day we used permanent markers to label (ugh! that makes it so hard to hand things down when you're finished with them). I'm glad there's a better alternative today.

If you need labels for anything at all...household, children, outside, etc., be sure to check the site out and see what they've got for you. You can learn more about all of the great items available at Label Daddy by visiting their website. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

  1. My boys love having labels withe their names on them. They use them the most with the camps they are in. Many of their school supplies just stay at school, or are community supplies.

  3. haha figures it was the one thing not labeled. True, it does cost a small fortune indeed. Better to label away.

  4. Would it be silly of me to get that Little Mermaid label for myself? I'd stick those puppies all over my stuff ;) Sorry your son lost his item at show and tell! It stinks when things don't come back home :(

  7. It's inevitable that kids will lose something in school. I didn't use labels when my kids were younger, but I can see how these would increase the oods of things finding its way back home.

  9. It always happens with the unlabeled things! We have all the uniform items, backpack and lunch items labeled, but the toys aren't. We usually ask our daughter several times if she is sure that she wants to thake certain item to school, as it might get lost.

  10. What some lovely labels - I just to have my name in red writing and that was it when I was a child (matched the uniform as it was red jumper) I would have loved something like this. x

  14. I've never used them before. I usually use black permanent sharpie on my son's items. Although these labels look very cool!
