The Adventures of Camp Nana Papa!

You don't have to spend a lot of money or send the kids away to have them experience the joys of camp. All you have to do is send your kiddos to Camp Nana Papa! I know as a grandparent, I'm all in for having a grandparent's weekend with my little beebop, and I'm sure most grandparents feel the same. Pack 'em up and send them over to gram and grandpa's for the weekend, so they can experience the fun of Camp Nana Papa just like the brother and sister in this book did! The best thing about it? This kind of camp (if you're copying the theme) can be completely customized and done year round!!

I felt very fortunate to receive a signed copy. I always treasure those when they are in our collection. A big thank you to the author for the consideration!

This book shows how a young brother and sister went to their grandparent's home for a 'camping' adventure and along the way they found a great friend too (enter the firefly you see above). :)

This book is pretty big, measuring in at approximately 9" x 11" and it is a hardcover with a dust jacket. Written by Donnie Cranfill, it is designed to get your attention from the get-go. Easily relatable to children and written very conversationally, this book is jam-packed with homestyle fun.

Jeffrey Ebler did a great job with the illustrations. Each page is styled with colorful, happy pictures. This is an awesome book to share with most any young child, and is recommende for ages 4-8. Pick up your copy on Amazon, and see what fun adventures Sarah and Nick take with their grandparents. If you're lucky, it might stir up a memory or two for you too!! I know it did for me, and that made the book even more fun!

This book makes a great gift idea, and would be awesome for children's book clubs which are so popular right now too (it is definitely a great conversation starter!).

This does sound like a fun book. My Mom loves reading to our kids. I love going camping, but man my allergies have been so bad the last few years, we haven't gone camping. :(

What a cute sounding book.
Some of my favorite memories were spending time with my Nana when I was younger.
