September is Better Breakfast Month!

We hear it all the time, "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day," but if you're like most people, mornings are spent rushing out the door to stay on schedule and you are lucky if you can grab something to eat along the way.

As September is Better Breakfast Month, I thought it would be timely to share some ideas and tips to solve bad breakfast habits for the rest of the year! Instead of opting for greasy breakfast sandwiches (or worse, an empty stomach), why not try one of these quick, easy (and healthy!) breakfast options, most of which can be enjoyed on-the-go.

KRUPSCarrington Farms, IMUSA, Sparkling Ice, Viki's Granola, and T-fal will give your morning meal the modern makeover it needs to make your breakfast better.

You are right, it is hard to eat well when you are rushing out the door in the morning. These items would really help make morning meals a little healthier while on the go.

Hi Rosie - my metabolism is definitely a non-breakfast eater ... when I was growing up I'd have small quantities ... then changed to fruit - and now often forego it altogether - it suits me ... but kids growing need a healthy start and any encouragement is good for them to eat. cheers Hilary
