What's In Your Beach Bag?

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

The beautiful Ft. Lauderdale Beach (Florida, US)
Beach days are favorite days for our family. Everyone from the oldest to the youngest likes to spend the day by the ocean, and I do too! That is especially true since I moved away from it for so long. Nothing makes you take a new look at things you love more than moving away from them! I feel such a renewed sense of appreciation every single time I go to the beach now. Heck, I feel a sense of appreciation even when we drive by the beach!

My oldest boy & his wife. His wife's really got the relaxing thing down, lol!!
Whether we are relaxing,

Enjoying beach toys,

My youngest & oldest two boys.

Playing hard,

My youngest and 2nd-oldest taking a walk on the pier.
Or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll by the water (notice they both have their swimsuits on though, just in case ;) there's one thing we always have in our beach bags and that is SNACKS!

When we head to the beach, we like to take our favorite snacks. Toss some Welch's and Go Organically fruit snacks in for the kids, add some Vicki's Granola for me, and chill some Sparkling Ice and Aqua Water and put it in the chill tote for everyone to drink. Oh yeah, that's a perfect beach day scenario! Nobody's complaining with these treats, and no one's going hungry or thirsty either! :)

Welch's Fruit Snacks are Fat Free, Gluten Free, contain No Preservatives and provide 100% of the recommended daily value of Vitamin C and 25% of Vitamins A and E, making them perfect for on-the-go. Throw a few pouches of Welch's® Fruit Snacks in your bag and delight your family with the 11 different varieties, delicious taste and quality that can only be Welch's®.

Go Organically® Fruit Snacks are USDA-certified organic, made with real fruit purées and real fruit juices, making them the perfect on-the-go treat for those looking for an organic alternative. These smart delicious treats include 100% of the daily recommended value of Vitamin C and are an excellent source of Vitamins A and E. Go Organically® Fruit Snacks are GMO-free, gluten-free, preservative-free and made with natural flavors and colors from natural sources.  Not to mention, each individual pack is only 70 calories!
An excellent soda alternative, Sparkling Ice is slightly carbonated with B-Vitamins, Vitamin D and antioxidants. This light and refreshing beverage contains zero calories, zero carbs, is gluten free, caffeine free, and sodium free. Available in four delicious flavors - Black Raspberry, Orange Mango, Cherry Limeade and Kiwi Strawberry, the 8oz cans are the perfect size to be stored in any beach bag. The cans are available in select retailers nationwide. ($1.19-$1.29/bottle).
Due to AQUA Carpatica's  zero-sodium content, this natural mineral water is suitable for when the body is in need of quick hydration, especially while soaking up the sun at the beach. The still spring water has a low mineral content and, unlike many other bottled water brands on the market, is nitrate-free. Due to this rare purity, AQUA Carpatica is an excellent choice for pregnant women, young children and for use with infant formulas (Price varies by retailer).

And before you go to the beach, or even when you get home from it, why not use a little coconut on your hair (seems appropriate, right?).  All of that salt water and chlorine can really take a toll on your hair! Run coconut oil through your tresses before you jump into the pool or hit the beach, for some extra moisturizing protection. Carrington Farms Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil Paks are conveniently packaged single-serve Pak containing 1 tbsp of organic unrefined cold-pressed coconut oil – perfect for throwing in your beach bag or tote. MSRP: $8.99

These are all standard staples for us on beach day. How about you? What's kind of snacks and drinks are you toting along in your beach bags?

    1. That's actually my youngest and my oldest. People mistake both of his older brothers for dad everywhere we go. They think I'm grandma. ;) :)

  2. I've reviewed a few of those items you listed. We love going to the beach on spring break. I prefer the warm beaches down south over the ones here in the Midwest. Great post!

  5. Yes! Snacks are definitely a must have when heading to the beach. I swear, I get my entire caloric intake for the day when we go to the beach. What is it about that destination that makes one so hungry?

    1. I feel like that about a workout. I'm always so hungry after that I have to drink a TON of water to fill my tummy, or I'll defeat every single good thing the workout has done. ;)

  24. That's how I feel about too and I've always lived in coastal states. My dad had a cousin visit when I was visiting recently. They were supposed to be going to Myrtle Beach but they stayed in the city and went back home. I found that crazy that they'd drive all the way down to SC from PA and not go and at least do a drive by. Christopher loves those ICE drinks. We find them bottled at Sam's.

  25. Well, what a coincidence. I just bought these Welches snacks for Ryan today and I had to tell him - just one a day per customer. Otherwise, he would eat three bags full. Love your snack and drink variety for a day at the beach!!
