Confession: One thing I am not, is a chef. I've heard it my whole life, and believe me I've tried. I've taken cooking classes, tried various recipes I've come across, gotten help from family and friends, etc., but still... no. I think because I don't like meat (I've never liked it, not even as a kid) that I just can't cook it. I guess you can't know how to make something taste good if you aren't going to be able to taste it yourself.

On the date specified, a big Blue Apron box showed up on my doorstep. Inside was everything I needed to make the three meals, and I do mean everything (right down to the egg and even the garnish). Packed securely in ice packs everything was fresh and looked great. The little bags you see i the photo above are labeled by recipe, and they have things like seasoning, vinegar, sour cream, etc.
