For the adults in my life, especially at my job, these tasty Bahlsen treats really hit the spot. The thin narrow boxes hold full-sized Wafflelettens and the foil bags hold the waffle minis. Blink too long, and no matter where you're putting these out (work or home) they might be gone. I saw that up close and personal when I put a batch on the break room table in the a.m., and when I went back at lunch, they were all gone. :)
Either full-sized in the box...
or mini-sized in the bags, the chocolate wafers are thin and the chocolate is rich. It is the perfect flavor combination. They are light, almost airy, crunchy, and they have a bit of creamy chocolate deliciousness that really cuts a sweet tooth. I bet you can't eat one without smiling. :) They definitely feel like a flavor indulgence, especially when you are having them for a mid-afternooon, or late-night snack (not that Id know anything at all about either *wink *wink*).
Just a thought, maybe dad would like a bag/box or two along with his Father's Day gifts. I'm thinking he probably would. :)
Bahlsen also makes The Deloba, a pastry cookie with a little dab of flavor in the center. I tried the blueberry and they were so good. Light, flaky and just enough sweet to be a treat, but definitely not overpowering. You couldn't find a better accompaniment for tea or coffee.
All Bahlsen cookes are made with the finest high quality, all-natural ingredients: no hydrogenated oils, zero trans fats, no added preservative, and no artificial flavors or colors. There are flavors to appeal to many different tastes-blueberry, red currant, puff pastry, chocolate... you get the idea. :)
Have you tried them? If not, which would be your favorite?
