Love the Beach but Hate Sand Everywhere? One Step Ahead has Beach #Solutions!

Keep reading to see what's in these two nifty little pouches!
One Step Ahead does it yet again! Two fantastic solutions to a common family challenge: sand! Going to the beach is all well and fun. In fact, it's one of our favorite things to do. But the sandy, icky, wet mess that comes home with it (even if you rinse, shake and repeat under the public showers) is no fun at all.

ITEM #1
Sand-Away Beach Bag (on sale for $12.76)!

Self-containing pouch
If you have kids, you know that what I just said especially holds true when it comes to the toys!! Sandy toys wreak havoc on a tote bag and that mess always, always finds its way to your car. So...you see this small envelope? It is actually the top part of a nifty large bag that is made entirely of mesh. The bag is PERFECT for beach toys, snorkel gear, and things like that... things that are going to get wet, and things that when wet are going to attract sand like a magnet to metal.

I love the design of this bag. Simply unsnap the flap and you'll find your bag inside. Once you start pulling the contents out, you'll see the bag start to form.

The Sand-Away Beach Bag has a sturdy net material, so you can see everything inside of the bag, which makes it great for the kiddos. They won't have to take every toy out to get the one they want, and then when it's time to leave you can throw all the sandy stuff in there, sling it over your shoulder and take it to the spigot on the concrete part of the beach where you can clean everything out before you get it in the car. Or if  you're going to stay in the recreational area, you can rinse everything and hang the bag from a tree limb so it'll all dry while you eat/visit/play. So handy!

I stretched the bag out here, so you can see how big it could get. This bag is roomy enough for almost everything you might need on the beach! It has a nice long handle too, so you can sling it over your shoulder, which makes toting it a breeze.

Bring home everything but the sand! Our giant mesh beach bag holds ALL your towels, toys, and gear—even a pail and beach ball!—then folds away into a self-contained pouch. Before you leave, just give it a shake to release the sand. Lightweight and fast-drying, with hook 'n loop closures that ensure contents stay put. Its zippered security pocket works as a privacy pocket in beach bag mode and a self-storage pouch when the bag is folded (the hands-free strap snaps to strollers and gear). Great for also carting groceries and laundry; doubles as an eco-friendly shopping bag. 18"W x 12"D x 18"H open; folds to 9"L x 2"W x 6"H. Imported. Designed by OneStepAhead!

Item #2
Sand-Away Beach Sheet

Handy storage pouch included. Sand-Away Beach Sheet

This fast drying nylon beach sheet is a roomy 7ft. x 7 ft. and it has sand pockets on the corners to keep it firmly in place if you're using it on the beach. It also has loops if you want to use stakes in the grass. It's made of a water and sand-resistant feather-light nylon that dries quickly, and it's perfect for outside use.

Here you see I've used it on a public chaise lounge. That's because the sweet little pumpkin you see in the background has a phobia with the teeny tiny sugar ants that so often end up on these kinds of chairs. He can't stand them and it ruins his whole day to have to share space with them. Solution? I swipe them off and put down the Sand-Away-Beach Sheet. I also take this sheet to the beach and it works way better than beach towels (that wet sand sticks to) or blankets (that are big and bulky).

Yet another way One Step Ahead offers solutions for you and your family.

  4. I love how convenient this bag is! It's really perfect for the beach especially since you can use it as a bag for all the beach accessories that the kids have. The second one is cool as well!
