Should I Have Centered It?!? AdormaPix Metal Prints

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Metal is such a good medium for photos!
This looks gorgeous in person!
I just got a print from AdoramaPix in the latest shape of their metal prints, the hexagon. I decided on a smaller print, just because I want it to hang in a small divider space in the hallway. It's going to look absolutely perfect there once I get it (the wall, not the metal print) painted the color I see in my mind.

Right now I've tucked it away gently, so it doesn't get harmed while I'm waiting to paint. Time is not my friend right now, but that's okay, being busy is good. Very good.

The picture is the high quality I am used to from AdoramaPix, and it's on metal as I noted above, which means you can wipe it with a damp cloth to clean it. It also means it's not going to fade over time, and it looks amazing. Metal really knows how to hold it's photos!

Everyone who sees it loves the metal, BUT they say I should have centered it.
I did not on purpose!! What do you think?

The one thing about this picture...and tell me what YOU think...is everyone who sees it says I should have centered it better. To me, it's perfect. I deliberately put it off center, to have the big boat entering from the left. I like it that way. You can move your photo how you want it when you're designing it on the very user-friendly AdoramaPix platform. This was the way I thought it looked best. It doesn't matter to me (not saying that in a rude way, just saying) what others think because I love how I situated it and am going to be very happy to put it on the wall. That particular spot is one of my very favorite places to go, so seeing it in the house, from a photo I took just delights me.

AdormaPix has many options to showcase your photos, this hexagon metal print is one of my faves. You can choose from a variety shapes and sizes, to customize your photo exactly how you want it. If you're still shopping for dad or grad, this is a great gift idea too. The metal is frameless, lightweight, scratch-resistant and it really serves well to make your photo pop. It's one of those things you have to see in person. I think the metal prints are just awesome.

This one comes with a square on the back to hang it, and a level so you can make sure you're getting it straight. The metal prints are offered in 8 sizes, 4 finishes and 7 fixtures. I highly recommend this company for this type of photo display. The AdormaPix metal prints get a 5 out of 5 star rating from me!

You can learn more about AdoramaPix by visiting their website. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

Now tell me, what do you think?
Do you that particular photo off-center,
or would you have centered it?
Just curious... :)

Perfectly centred always looks a tad artificial to me. I like the energy that your choice gives.

I like it! Asymmetrical is artistic!

That is sure neat indeed. Looks good how it is, but my ocd probably would have centered it lol

I like it off center a little, but I can see why you would want it centered, too. I like both :)

So cool. I like that it isn't in the traditional shape. It almost looks like a window leading to a beautiful sea outside.

I think it looks really cool. The picture you chose looks great as a metal print.

It's really nice to have something like this framed, it's easier to maintain and it definitely lasts longer than most pictures. I don't mind the picture not being centered at all, I think it adds to the charm.

I love it! I used to have a real problem with everything being perfectly centered and balanced. Not so much anymore. I think you made a good choice with this one.

This would make for a great gift for any occasion. I will have to check out Adoramapix. They do have a lot of options. Thank you for always featuring their products on your blog.

I don't think it needed to be centered at all, it looks great just the way it is and it makes it really unique.

I'm the type of person that seeks a reason behind everything and off-centered pic are no exception, I don't just dismiss them as a mistake. You got me interested in AdormaPix to say the least!

Everything seems perfect for me, asymmetry is very artistic and only a few special people can understand how amazing they are. Great gift ideas!

I like the print and think the idea of metal is awesome. I am not quite sure about the centering. I would probably have to see it on your wall in person to make a decision.

I think you centered it just fine. It has balance.

I actually got one of these (it was rectangular, though.) They really are nice! And I like this uncentered, lol! I like photos like this, not the perfectly centered, almost posed look!

I never seen this before but looks great

It gives so much freedom to move the photo, to catch different perspectives.

Rochkirstin Santos said...

I think it should be at the center. I would be bothered every time to look at it if it's not. :)

Lana Slaybell said...

It's so awesome. I hope it does not run out of ink quickly like most printers do.

I actually loved the way you did it and you did a great job with the placement. I've never had a photo on metal before, I've done canvas but might have to do a metal one in the future.

Danessa Foo said...

I like that you made it off-centre. It creates a talking point for anyone who comes visit and sees the photo :)

Fred Hawson said...

It looks very good as you set it. I do like asymmetric photographs better as they tend to tell a story more than a perfectly centered photo.

Pam said...

I think it looks good slightly off center. But, I also think if it makes you happy that's the main thing to worry about anyway. I've never done a metal picture before, only the canvas. Very neat!

Zwitsy said...

If you were to ask me, the picture looks good. If that satisfies you, then nothing to worry though. Besides, what's important is that how you see it. Also, I find the metal picture interesting. I most probably be considering this kind of designs at home.

Tough Cookie Mommy said...

I think that the shape of it makes it hard to tell if it is not centered or not. It is really up to you since it will be up on display in your home, so enjoy it.

Shalama Jackson said...

It looks good as it is. Not everything needs to be centered.

Theresa Mahoney said...

I don't like staged photos, always have love candid shots. This one looks very candid to me, which is perfect! And, as long as it makes YOU happy, then who cares what everyone else thinks? ;)

I can't think of any reasons why I would want a metal print... but it is indeed different from normal prints...

I am so used to rectangles for canvas prints, but I like the idea of something different. Love the gorgeous photo as well.

Metal prints! That's interesting. I have a metal car coffee mug with a romantic pic of ours! I love it! Metal indeed is a great medium. I like how you've placed it. I'm always for asymmetrical look. Btw, how are the corners and sides? Sharp?

RainbowDiaries Singapore said...

Depends on the photo and perspective with which one look at it. I sometimes like it off-center.
