None Like Him Book #Giveaway #FlyBy

Disclosure: Many thanks to Propeller Consulting, LLC for providing this prize for the giveaway. Choice of winners and opinions are 100% my own and NOT influenced by monetary compensation. I did receive a sample of the product in exchange for this review and post.

Reading time is precious time for me, if it's for leisure. I don't get to do it often, but when I do, it makes me very happy. I'm also always looking for new ways to amp up my spiritual growth. When I can combine the two into one activity, it's definitely a win-win. I recently sat down by the pool with a cold glass of iced tea, and a copy of None Like Him: 10 Ways God is Different from Us by Jen Wilkin. This book reminds us how we are different than God, and reiterates to us why that is a very good thing. :)

God is self-sufficient, eternal, immutable, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, sovereign, infinite, and incomprehensible. We're not. And that's a good thing. Our limitations are by design. We were never meant to be God. But at the root of every sin is our rebellious desire to possess attributes that belong to God alone. Calling us to embrace our limits as a means of glorifying God's limitless power. Jen Wilkin invites us to celebrate the freedom that comes when we rest in letting God be God.

This book is designed for women, to help enhance their journey with God. I found it very enjoyable and am happy to have added it to my home library.

You can learn more about by visiting here or here. One lucky winner gets a copy to call their own. US/Canada only.

  10. I love reading spiritual posts like this. In fact, even if we use words to describe God, it won't even be enough with accuracy. The very definition of it depends on our faith and beliefs.
