There's Still Time! Put Mom's Favorite Things (or people!) on a Blanket! #mothersday

He's being silly on purpose in the picture on the left.
He makes himself laugh, and asked me to include the pic..., and so I did. ;)
I can't be the only one who's noticed how fast 2016 is moving along. Wasn't it just the beginning of the year where people were talking about their resolutions or goals for the new year? And yet here we are, the middle of April...talking about Mother's Day. Why am I talking about Mother's Day in April? Well because Collage.com is a great place to get a one-of-a-kind item for Mum but the deadline to get items like their popular blanket options with standard shipping is fast approaching: April 21st! You can see all of the shipping deadlines here: https://www.collage.com/deadlines

We got a photo blanket from them last year. My youngest son picked out all of the pictures, and he sleeps with it nightly, and shows it off to anyone who comes to visit (especially if they are pictured on the blanket!).

In addition to family, he also put pictures of things he thought were cute or nice, like the hedgehog ornament he took a picture of at the store, or the fronts of the moose and polar bear pillows. His blanket... his choices, and he loves that blanket in no small part because he had free reign on the design!!

The blanket has been washed a lot! And you can see it's still holding up great. Even the pictures with dark backgrounds have not faded.

This fleece blanket from collage.com has a Chevron border (there are other options) and white background.
The picture on the left is not faded or cracked, that's just tickets flying everywhere in a wind booth. ;)
My son chose the border on this one, which is a blue Chevron print. There are a variety of borders to choose from, and you can see the border is also put around the photos for a very put-together, snazzy look. The back of this fleece blanket is solid white.

This blanket has brought a lot of joy to my son, as it would to most any recipient. Think of how happy mom would be on Mother's Day, to open a blanket that had her most favorite pictures (or people) on it. I know I'd love one!!

Collage.com offers several styles and sizes of blankets, including woven, fleece (featured here) and the very popular Sherpa.  You can learn more about them, and all of the other great products by visiting their website. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

My husband and I received a custom blanket when we got married and I still use it. 10 years of warm snuggling and I still appreciate the thought.

That is fun!

I think it would be also great comfort to give one to someone that lost someone special. They could feel close to them by wrapping up in the blanket.

What a great blanket! I've thought of making one to highlight the travels my family has gone on and I've never gotten around to it. I may need to revisit that idea.
