The weather's warm, but school's still in... it's not quite summer, but the kids know their big vacation is just around the corner. It makes for that feeling of limbo sometimes, and to be honest, I can feel it too. What better way to ward off the 'almost summertime' blues than Hasbro?!?!
This is a brand most families know and love, including ours, and recently we added three new things to our toy line-up from them.
|Be sure to twist the net before you loop it, every single time!|
Be sure to twist the net when you're putting it on the hooks. That's in the instructions, but if you're like me and think you can assemble without reading, you're going to growl and grunt when the net slips off of the hooks...until you see you're supposed to twist each section first. Then it holds like a champion!
It comes with a little Nerf basketball, and my son's been on a frenzy of shooting hoops with his friend who practically lives here too. ;) They're all sweaty... like boys. :) But they're having a great time.
The second Hasbro item we've brought in the house is cute as can be, and it's a smaller sized Transformer, but the coolest thing is he's a Mr. Potato Head!! AND he's also Optimus Prime. :)
This item sells for just under $5. That's a price that can't be beat for something that is this rocking crazy cool!
This larger sized, more traditional Optimus Prime Transformer is a 3-step changer. He turns into a semi-truck. It's easy to transform, and we think it looks great either way.
My youngest is pretty good at getting these to move into their positions with ease, and he likes to collect them and put them on display in his room. You can see it's in the shape of the semi above.
And here it is all on its own. The cab of the truck flips it upside down, and the arms tuck in to create the top. You can't even tell that five seconds ago, it was Optimus Prime. :) We love these, and this one is my favorite size.
The Hasbro trio is all top-of-the-line quality, as is the norm with the brand. And yes, oh yes, they were a great way to remove the doldrums that come along with waiting for the school year to end. Now we're ready to buckle down again, and get to the homework.
If you're looking for a break from the norm, I suggest you #PlayLikeHasbro
Worked for us. :)
