Kids Monitoring Software Making Life Easier for Parents

Being a parent is not an easy job and if you are a single parent or both you and your spouse work, then it becomes even more difficult, but do not worry there are apps out there that can make life better. We know that almost all the kids use Internet or some sort of smartphone/tablet to learn or to do their homework, and also for other activities such as surfing the web and chatting through the various internet messengers and socializing through the many social media sites. Parents can make their lives easier by actually using these tools to work for them and at the same time protect and watch over their kids – the answer is kids monitoring software.

Two of the most popular devices that are being used throughout the world by adults and children alike are Android and iOS. Most monitoring apps including xnspy work on both the mentioned devices. These apps can make life easier for the parents, they can be installed on the children’s devices and then parents can usually monitor and track their children remotely through a control panel. Parents can then be at ease knowing what their kids are up to and also to some extent control their activity on their devices.

Parents who complain that their children spend too much time on the smart devices and do not go out to actually socialize or participate in sports or other activities can use the lock device and lock app features in xnspy and other similar kids monitoring software to limit their use. Besides setting up a schedule with their kids on the use of device, they can enforce it using the remote scheduling feature to ensure that their kids are not tempted to go against what they have promised.

Parents using these tools can monitor the online presence of their children. They can check to see what they have been browsing and who they have been chatting with and what type of conversations have been taking place. This is important as there are many cases of cyberbullying, sexting, inappropriate behavior that have been taking place and the results of which are not very good. Parents, besides having an open dialogue with kids, can use such apps to easily control such situations and prevent them from ever taking place.

Protecting kids from strangers and other dangerous situations are also something parents worry about. Even law enforcement personnel now recommend that parents should monitor their kids and limit their use of IM chatting and social media sites, especially during the evening. The Internet and Smart devices offer an excellent learning opportunity for the kids and help them with their homework, but there are people out there who have a much more sinister agenda and parents can protect their children through using such apps.

Choosing the right one.

The other most obvious question that would come into themind of any parent(s) is which kids monitoring software should they choose. Given that there are so many out there that claim to be the best. The basic thing is that first the app should be compatible with the device they are going to use it on. Then they should go for an app that has value for money, and gives them freedom to choose according to the functionality they require. The app should itself be discrete and small and not resource hungry, otherwise, it will cause problems for the device user after installation – slow device performance leading to the device getting stuck, battery drain, etc.

An Example:

After trying out numerous apps, we finally found one that fits the bill – xnspy.  It works on both Android (rooted and non-rooted) and iOS (jailbreak and no-jailbreak) devices.  The cost is reasonable and it has two packages, a Basic Edition and a Premium Edition. The good thing about this is, you don’t have to pay extra for functionality you don’t need, unlike many others that offer a lot of functionality some that you might not even require and still force you to pay for it.

The Basic Edition costs as low as $8.32/month and the Premium Edition costs as low as $12.49/month.Once you purchase the app, you are sent login credentials, an activation code and an installation guide. The app itself is very small so it does not take time to install and afterwardit goes straight to stealth mode and uses the least amount of resources to carry out its tasks. That means your kids won’t complain about their device getting stuck or the battery getting drained. It is almost impossible to remove from the device manually, so it stays there as long as you want it.

It has all the features of kids monitoring software (the ones we mentioned above) and has advanced tracking features such as remote lock and remotely deleting all data. It can also provide the current location of a device as well as the history of where it has been.Xnspy is controlled via a web-based dashboard that can be accessed from anywhere in the world with a browser and an Internet connection.  If you have an Android device in your use, you can download the Android Dashboard to monitor the xnspy app from the convenience of your smartphone/tablet.

  1. I don't even have a cell phone. I'm so behind the times, but I just don't seem to care.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

  2. So far I don't have a problem with my kids with monitoring them online, but I'm sure I'll need to look out for this in the near future with Mica. A great post indeed!

  4. That is awesome! Neither of my kids even really want smartphones, so I've never had to worry about their texting habits. This is great for parents of kids who do have them! I'd be all over it!

  5. Sounds very useful! My son is too young to have a smartphone, but maybe in the future.

  6. I could definitely see how this could be a great thing to have. With 3 kids on all sorts of mobile devices, we are pretty good at checking out their history and such. Xnspy sounds like it could make it so much easier.

  10. I often wonder how many parents actually dive into what their kids are doing online. I just went through all of Allison's accounts and was SHOCKED at the things her friends are saying and doing. Made me really sad to see what these kids are doing, and if the parents were on top of their kid's accounts, I wouldn't have found the stuff their kids are posting and there would probably be a lot of sore backsides at my daughter's school.

  11. My kids didn't have smart phones when they were young but now that they are teens they are kindof necessary. They use them at school alot for actual classroom work. Having young kids on them, though, definitely requires more monitoring!

  14. My children use electronic devices for schoolwork and I always worry about the type of content they may encounter. An app like this would really put my mind at ease.

  15. I would definitely want something like this if I had kids. I know my niece & nephews know more about the internet, tablets, phones, etc., than I do, so adults need all the help we can get to keep them safe. Also, I like that it can tell you the location of the device: my nephews are constantly losing track of their gadgets!
