AdoramaPix Infuses Your Favorite Photos on a Sheet of Metal!! So Nice!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Infuse your favorite photos on a sheet of metal at AdoramaPix!

There are a lot of places I love for getting photo items made. I have a new one that may now top my list!! AdoramaPix has just sent me the most amazing metal print!! I got the white finish for the picture I selected, at their suggestion, and it just turned out so amazing. It's the first thing people see and comment on when they enter the house. It's big (but not too big), colorful, clear as a summer day and it makes me VERY happy to look at every time that I do.

The metal prints come with the wood piece and screws to hang it,
or you can lean it against the wall like we've temporarily done here.
For me, the picture to select was a no-brainer. My son likes to laugh and when he does, he lets it all out. I mean throws his head back, opens his mouth wide, crinkles his eyes lets it out-out. It's contagious and it makes everyone in the room smile. I captured that laugh on a photo shoot we were doing one day, and when it was time to order, I knew in an instant that this one, was 'the one.'

Using the AdormaPix website is very easy to do. I literally had this picture ordered in a matter of minutes. I love that you can choose different sizes, styles, or shapes for your metal prints. In fact, they have 8 shapes, 4 finishes, and 7 textures that you can choose from to make these. They are waterproof, so you can wipe them right down when they get smudged or dusty and not worry that your picture is going to get ruined. They are also scratch-resistant and come with the hardware to hang them, if you'd' like.

This is my most favorite gift to myself of the whole year!! And it's a great way to ring in 2016, and every year after that to come.

Can you think of a picture you'd love to have printed on metal?

StickerYou.com What Can You Do with Stickers?

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Sticker You is so much more than stickers..to me it's a place to spawn creativity and ideas! They've got everything you can think of to be organized, have fun, or label as necessary in the new year.

I used them for holiday stickers, making a Santa square that said it was a gift from my son. These were perfect for teachers, principal, etc. They would also have been perfect to use our surname and give gifts from the whole family, like baked goodies, care baskets, etc.

You can customize whole sheets if you want, like my son did with the Lego option. He picked the Lego pictures he liked, and then digitally transferred them to a sheet. The StickerYou website tells you if any are overlapping so you can correct it (if you want). There are a lot of different choices for designs, and when you zero in on one (like the Lego theme) there are a lot of options for each category as well. My son went random and he couldn't be happier with his sheet. You can see from the picture above that the back peels off, so he can cut around his stickers individually or he can use a whole sheet somewhere. He has decided to cut around these.

I like all of the sticker options they have at StickerYou. The ideas generated from just browsing the site are endless, and they've got window decals, labels, etc. for most anything at all that you can think up. Take a look at StickerYou.com and you'll see exactly what I mean. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

Ozeri Can Help with Your New Year Weight Loss Goals!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

New Year's brings with it the resolution to be healthier for so many, so now is absolutely the perfect time to write about my new Ozeri Precision II digital bathroom scale. This scale has all the bells and whistles to make you feel like you're really taking good measures (ha, love when words play) when it comes to meeting your weight goals and objectives.

This is what comes in the box. The scale itself, a tape measure and body fat caliper, 2 AAA batteries and the directions.

This tape measure and fat caliper are nice perks to help you see exactly how well you are progressing even if the scale is not moving at a particular time. Of course you can be losing inches even when you're not losing weight in numbers. This set will help you gauge and monitor both.

The scale itself is attractive with a see through glass top, a large number digital view box, and non-skid feet. The scale holds up to 400 lbs. and can tell you exactly how much weight you have gained or lost since the last time you stepped on it. The colors show up in red for weight gain and green for weight loss. That's a cool feature, right?

I think this Ozeri Precision II is a great tool to help you with your weight loss goals for the new year. You can check out this and other Ozeri items by visiting Amazon. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

#Giveaway Dr. Scholl's Dream Walk Express Pedi Foot Smoother

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Chances are you've heard of Dr. Scholl's and that is with good reason: they make high quality products and they've been around for years! With cold weather coming, Dr. Scholl's is just who you want to be in touch with for keeping those tootsies nice and smooth. Winter is hard on your feet, but with the new Dream Walk Express Pedi Foot Smoother, your feet won't show it. Made with no metal in the blades, this is a nice way to pamper yourself and your feet.

My experience:
My feet always have a slightly rough spot on the outside of my big toe and on my heels. I've just given up on lotions being able to make my feet baby smooth. So when the Express Pedi smoothed those rough spots off with minimal effort, I was so surprised! It's gentle too. You can hear it running, the motor isn't overly quiet, so you would think it would have pressure or something but it doesn't. Word of warning, it's gentle to the touch, but it's very strong  too, so be careful if you brush a nail. I zapped part of a nail off.. not enough to hurt, but enough to make me say whoops out loud. Also, use it over a garbage can. There's nothing to catch the skin being exfoliated.

I really like this little gadget! The head is easy to remove for replacement. It takes two AA batteries, which are included.

The new Dream Walk Express Pedi Foot Smoother buffs away dry rough skin leaving your feet looking and feeling smoother and more beautiful. With its user-friendly design, the Express Pedi is a fast and simple way to get the look you want for your feet, in the comfort of your own home.

Why the Express Pedi Foot Smoother?

  • Creates salon smooth feet in the comfort and privacy of your home
  • Light, contoured handheld electronic foot smoother device is easy to use
  • Buffs away dry, rough skin leaving behind smooth and soft instead
  • No sharp blades or soaking required
  • Replacement roller heads allow for extended product use

A Glass Carafe on the Blender? Yes_if it is a Dynablend!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

A high speed blender is an amazing thing in our house because we need it for our smoothies. The stainless steel cross blade in this Dynablend makes even the toughest items (like ice), a breeze to chop up undetectably fine. My oldest son and his wife recently turned us on to the beauty of smoothies. I admit, I'm a little late to the game, but smoothies really are a great way to get the kids to eat and love their veggies!! You can mix most anything up with strawberries and bananas and the kids will love them (even broccoli, spinach and kale, all of which I have done recently). That makes a blender worth it's weight in gold to me, so I'm happy to have this one that is made so well. I'm also happy that it has a 10-year warranty!

This is what comes in the box. The glass carafe separates easily from the bottom, which makes for easy cleaning. The stainless steel measuring scoop also works well as a spoon or an agitator.

You get to choose from various speed on the dial, or you can push the button that will give you a combination of speeds in one setting.

I guess you can see it more clearly in this picture. Turn the dial to choose your speed, or push a ready-to-use preset button.

This is an inside look down the carafe. That's a stainless steel blade there, and it makes fine work of frozen fruits and veggies. It does a good job with ice too, which seems to be the thing that is hardest on blender motors. This blender works on a 1.1 HP High Power Motor.

It's this glass though, that gets me. Plastic be gone, I say! ;) This very thick-walled glass carafe is as sturdy and solid as they come. It makes plastic look ridiculouos. Everyone who sees it on the counter lets out a little happy sigh. This is the way a blender should be made. So far, I like everything about it.

You can learn more about the Dynablend Blender by visiting the website. You can also follow along on Facebook and/or Twitter.

The Dynablend Horsepower Plus high power home blender gives you all the performance of expensive commercial blenders, but at half the price. Unlike other plastic blenders, Dynablend comes standard with an elegant, heavy-duty tempered glass pitcher. It's also the only blender equipped with an innovative stainless steel utility scoop. Use the stainless steel utility scoop to sample, stir, and add ingredients while in use. Three pre-programmed buttons and a variable speed dial provide a simplistic yet more effective approach to most modern blenders. Finally, you can obtain the exact texture you want for your smoothies or sauces. The innovative 30-second pulse mode prevents the blades from creating air pockets, while the 60-second blend mode gives you one-touch convenience when making simple recipes. Use the additional 60-second combo mode for even tougher blending jobs. Get more for your money. Get more for your health. High quality. Low Price. Get it all with the Tribest Dynablend Horsepower Plus.
  • Max. 23,000 RPM
  • Powerful 1.1 Horsepower Motor
  • Heavy-duty Glass Pitcher
  • Multi-purpose Stainless Steel Utility Scoop (tablespoon-sized)
  • Stainless Steel Body
  • Variable Speed Dial from Low to High
  • 3 Convenient Pre-programmed Buttons
  • Blinking LED Light when plugged in
  • Solid LED Light when switched to "ON"
  • Easy to Clean
  • 10 Year Warranty

The Leftovers are Taken Care of with GlasLife

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Christmas leftovers were a cinch this year with the 8pc. Rectangular Set I received from GlasLife. These airtight, thick glass storage containers have saved the day when it comes to storing all of the extra food we were sent home with (believe me, everyone who left the family party we attended was sent home with so.much.food!! #yum).

From the largest to the smallest of what we needed to store, GlasLife had it covered. When I'm finished with using those containers, they will all stack together for storage. Oh let me count the ways I love that feature! Perfect stacking means that it takes up a minimal amount of room. These dishes are oven, freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe. They come in 17 oz, 34 oz., 64 oz., and 112 oz. sizes.

I like the way the plastic comes down on the sides (no guess work if they snapped or not), and then the lid snaps right into place.

The lids are BPA free. I like that my lids are lined with pink, and that is my favorite cosmetic thing about them (though they are sleek looking too). There is absolutely nothing I don't like about these storage containers. They make me very happy. :)

You can learn more by visiting the Tribest website where these came from, and where you'll find other great products as well. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

New Shades for a New Year: Real Kids Shades

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

My son always says he's too old for the big Legos, but let me tell you, every chance he gets to sit down and play with them, he absolutely does. I was laughing when we rounded the corner at the bookstore and he said, 'Oh! MegaBlocks. Those are for babies.'  Why? Because, I knew. I knew in a matter of seconds that he'd be sitting at that table, and sure enough... We looked at a couple of things in the area and the lure of the Lego blocks (no matter the size) was too hard of a pull to resist. He sat down, happy to build and build (and build). Some things you never outgrow, and that's perfectly okay. ;)

My son is wearing his polarized Blaze sunglasses from Real Kids Shades in the picture that started this post. It may be the cold season, but it's important to protect your eyes from the sun any time of year, no matter where you live.

Rugged outdoor style and construction to stand up to the abuse any young outdoorsman brings their way. Blaze's cool wrap style is both stylish and practical providing comprehensive eye protection. P2 Lens technology means you're getting both polarized and polycarbonate lenses.

Pick up some new shades for the new year by visiting the Real Kids Shades website. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

Discount Code!!
To help celebrate the  new year, Real Kids Shades is offering 20% and free shipping on all orders $25 or more. Use the code HOLIDAY15 when checking out. Good through January 3, 2016.

Locking it up with Master Lock

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

6ft-Long Keyed Cable Lock, Assorted color 3-pk from Master Lock
Got a new bike in the house from Christmas morning? If so, make sure you've also got the best to keep it locked up and secure, if you're storing it outside. Master Lock has been protecting your items and purchases for as long as I can remember, and I've been around awhile now, so that kind of a sentence counts. ;)

The braided steel adds strength and stability and the protective vinyl overcoating, prevents scratching. These are 6ft. long and 5/16" in diameter. That nice length gives you more options for when and where to lock your items up. My son had a cheapo dollar lock on his bike, and it was hard to find places to secure it because the cord was so short. With this new keyed cable lock he's able to stretch the cord long enough to get it around more things. It's nice. :)

Rudolph is in the House and One Step Ahead has Made My Day!!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

One Step Ahead is my favorite store for innovative children's items. I've said it before, I'll say it again, they have THE coolest items available for sale on their site. Things you'd have never thought of yourself, but are so happy to have found. Did you know that in addition to the furniture items they sell, that they also have toys and other kid-related items, including this cute plush that just arrived on our doorstep for my son (thank you, One Step Ahead!!). Regular readers know my son is a stuffed animal LOVER and it's doesn't get much cuture than Rudolph.

This little cutie measures 10"L x 9"W x 10" H and his nose lights up while he is singing the classic favorite, "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" song. Rudolph has a festive green and white scarf, and of course his bright red nose, and we think he's a real beauty.

Oh yes, it was love at first sight. I'm going to be sad when he outgrows this natural
sweetness, and I know he's 'this' close to doing it. #EnjoyingItWhileItLasts :)
My favorite thing about this toy, besides the cute factor (and he's definitely got a cute factor going on) is that he's loud enough to hear, but not obnoxious like some musical toys can be. That means my son can play him as often as he wants, without someone telling him to stop. ;)

This Rudolph is an amazing way to say, "Merry Christmas," and even though they were my most favorite children's company anyway, it makes me love them even more.

You can learn more about this and the other great items One Step Ahead sells by visiting their website. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

December Faithbox

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

FaithBox is a montly Christian subscription box with things like inspirational quotes and scripture, actions to enrich your life and amazing products from companies that do good. Faithbox is no stranger to doing good things because for each and every box shipped, three hungry children are provided with a meal. Considering all of the purchases they get, that adds up to a lot of meals!

I was excited that the December Faithbox had socks! I immediately hollered for my son to tell him I had Minecraft socks. He rushed in to see, and told me they are not Minecraft socks. Well okay then... but for me, these are my new Mama Minecraft socks. :)

These are made and sold by Mitscoots, a company that sells a lot more than socks. They take pride in the fact that all items are made in the USA; they donate an equal item to those in need for every item purchased; and they hire those transitioning out of homelessness to help package and send out their goods.

Anchored in Hope is a company in Haiti that creates fabulous metal items out of old oil drums that would otherwise likely never be used. These are created by hand, so no two are going to ever be exactly alike.

Project 7 is a company whose profits go towards helping 7 key areas: feeding the hungry, healing the sick, supporting those who hope for peace, housing the homeless, quenching those who thirst, teaching well and saving the Earth. They included a packet of Peppermint Vanilla Gourmet Mints in the December Faithbox.

There were also two non-product gift cards to keep or give away. Helping others in need is synonymous with the month of December, so I thought that was an excellent addition to the box. The Everyday Faith  Faithbox is a montly subscription box that gives, and it's a nice box to have coming in (or a nice subscription to 'give' too). Another cool fact: The more you buy, the less it costs.

You can learn more about Faithbox by visiting their website. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

Holiday Snack Ideas that are Good for Travel or Stockings!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Whether  you're filling up the stockings for the holiday, or packing the car for the trip to grandpa's house, it's a great time of year to stock up on the snacks. We've got our stash, and I'm busy filling up the stockings tonight with some of those yummy treats.

Granola is a favorite snack for the more health-conscious folks in the family. Viki's Granola is the best! I like the plain, it's perfect for snacking or for putting on yogurt, and I also really love the Blueberry Almond Granola. #yum!

Made with high quality ingredients to ensure you get the best of what’s out there, Viki's Granola is great to eat on its own or to accompany your favorite yogurt. Available in three delicious varieties - including Original Honey, Maple Cranberry and Blueberry Almond– these snack packs are the perfect size to throw into your bag and take with you during your busy schedule! SRP: $11.99 (10 packs per box).

Sour Jacks are one of my son's new favorite snacks and all of the kids and adults love the Welch's Fruit Snacks. I rarely get the big bags, so putting these in the stocking is really going to earn me a big hurrah! I like both of these too, and since the bags are the larger size, it's going to be a good excuse to get the kids into the spirit of sharing. ;)

Sour Jacks are the perfect candy for those looking to achieve a sugar rush this holiday season. The delicious, chewy, sour and sweet pieces are full of fruit flavor and bursting with sour power! Discover the mouth-puckering sour flavor of Sour Jacks® Original, Watermelon, Lemonade, Wildberry and Green Apple. Only Sour Jacks® delivers a maximum sour taste with flavor-packed wedges that will turn your taste buds up to a whole new level.

Welch’s Fruit Snacks are the perfect smart, portion controlled snack for anyone with a sweet tooth. Welch’® Fruit Snacks feature fruit as the first ingredient, contain 100% of the daily recommended value of Vitamin C, 25% of Vitamins A&E, are Fat Free, Gluten Free and contain no preservatives. Welch’s® Fruit Snacks are sure to delight your family with the delicious taste and quality that can only be Welch’s®.

It's a blast to sneak around filling the socks with these kinds of treats. Makes me feel a bit like Santa Clause, and that's always a fun part to play. :)

Take a Bauli with you for Christmas

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Are you staying home for the holidays, headed out to see family, or doing a combination of both? If you're heading out, and you're looking for a nice little something to bring with you that everyone can enjoy, how about this authentic Italian, ready-to-eat, oven-baked cake from Bauli?!!

These are sold in stores everywhere and they come in a variety of flavors. You can also get individual-sized cakes if you want one for your lunch or just to have on your own. These are called cakes but they have the consistency of a bread. I think it makes for a really unique gift to take along with you, if you're going to someone else's house for Christmas. :)

When Ruggero returned home and opened his own shop, he perfected a large-scale technique to faithfully produce his artisanal recipes. In 1950, the growing family bakery refined the classic Pandoro di Verona, a star-shaped holiday cake first made in the town of Romeo & Juliet, and whose name means "golden bread.'

The Bauli Pandoro All-Natural is 100% free of chemicals. It is leavened for 40 hours using a "mother dough" that allows it to rise naturally, keeping it fresh for much longer than regular bread or cakes with absolutely no preservatives.

You can learn more about Bauli by visiting their website. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

Dollar General: Filling the Stockings with Favorites for Under Twenty Bucks!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

I've got six Christmas stocking to add finishing touches to this weekend. Those stockings belong to my four kids, my daughter-in-law and my granddaughter. I've got about $20 left in my Christmas budget (my first year to use a budget for shopping, I'm so proud of myself :) ), and I want the items in the stockings to be special in one way or another. In order to make my buck stretch further than it might in most places, I'm headed to Dollar General.

I know that Dollar General will have the traditional candy my oldest three have come to know and love, and my youngest too.

For the oldest I will be picking up some chocolate covered pretzels. He doesn't eat them often, but on the holidays, those are a must-have, and I'll definitely be bringing these home. These cost $4.

The second oldest loves the Ferrero Chocolates so I always put those in his Christmas stocking. Dollar General sells a 15-pack of these, with three flavors for just $6.

My third-oldest and my youngest love Hershey Kisses. They like them in their stockings, and they like to use them to make holiday cookies (which we will also be doing this weekend). The bag of Kisses you see above are $2.95.

This Double Chocolate Kisses Cookie Recipe can be found on the
Dollar General website.

AND speaking of cookies, did you know Dollar General offers some pretty tasty recipes on their website? I did not know that until just now, but when I was poking around I came across this delicious variation of a standard favorite: Double Chocolate Kisses Cookie Recipe
My daughter-in-law and the precious little one are not big on sweets but I know that my DIL does like to have some cozy, soft slippers on her feet. The Bobbie Brooks terry plush slippers you see above amazingly cost just $3.50 at Dollar General. They come in different colors too.

And my sweet baby granddaughter is getting oh so independent, so for her the cute Sippy Cup by Nuby will be just the right finishing touch for her holiday stocking. This item costs $3.25.

The grand total for all of the above? $19.70. Yep, I can make everyone in the family happy for under twenty bucks. What's not to love about that? Visit the Dollar General online (everything can be shipped too) or head on in to the store to find great deals in person. You can also follow Dollar General on Facebook and/or Twitter.

#Hasbro has THE "IT" Toys for Christmas #PlayLikeHasbro

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Okay, it's Christmas and I think Hasbro cornered the 'IT' market for Christmas with their Play All Day Elmo and their Pie Face Game. Of course they have a million other great selections too, Hasbro always does, but those two I think are going to be under the Christmas Trees this year, more than any other toys. Just my own personal guess from hearing people talk in person and on social media.

The Playskool Sesame Street Playlay All Day Elmo is huge, he's cute and he does a ton of fun things. He's an interactive favorite-character plush at its finest. My favorite thing about him is he's soft, not hard to touch like some interactive toys can be.

Little ones love watching Elmo play with his friends on Sesame Street. Now it's their turn to play along with Elmo: Meet Play All Day Elmo! This cuddly and interactive Elmo toy has over 150 responses, plus 8 games and activities to help keep kids engaged. When playtime is over, preschoolers can cuddle with him while listening to a lullaby.

Play All Day in Toddler or Preschool Mode: Elmo has 2 modes of play to encourage both younger and older children to have fun. In Toddler mode, young children can enjoy basic cause-and-effect play, like tickling Elmo or squeezing his nose to see how he might respond. In Preschool mode, preschoolers and Elmo can take play to the next level with games and activities. They can play pat-a-cake, wiggle and giggle through a freeze dance, stop and go through a game of "Red light, Green light," and more! Elmo's built-in sensors help him respond to different activities in fun ways; he can react when he's in the air, when he's upside down, and even when he's moving around. Ages 18 mos - 4yrs.

The second 'IT' toy that I think is huge this year is the 'Pie Face' game. This is one my son has been beeeeeeggging for, and thank goodness he's going to get. And boy, is he ever going to get it, hehehe. I love the concept of this game too, but you might want to play this one at the kitchen table, or even outside. ;)

The exciting Pie Face game is filled with fun and suspsense, and somebody is bound to get splatted! Just put some delicious whipped cream from home or the wet sponge on the 'hand' of this hilarious game unti and start turning the handles. It could go off at any time, so keep your fingers crossed and hope you're not hte one who gets a splat in the face! You score a point for every time you turn the handle without getting pie-faced, and the one who scores 25 points wins. Take some risks and hope for the best in this hilarious Pie Face game! Includes 1 pie thrower, 1 throwing arm, 2 handles, chin rest, splash guard mask, spinner and sponge. Ages 5+

The new Playmation is in a word, AMAZING!! This is like taking a video game out of the video game and having your kids run around in a movie scene all at one time. What do I mean? I mean your child gets to strap on the repulsor, get orders from Jarvis and run around ducking, rolling and saving the world as he engages in Avenger battle. My son played this for 3 hours straight when he first put it on. This is definitely worthy of being an 'it' toy this year! It was a huge hit with the neighbor kids, and my son hasn't stopped talking about it since it arrived.  I've never seen anything like this one, it's a fun new way to engage in active play. You can get the kids off of the couch, happily, when you bring something like this in the house.

The starter kit comes with what you see in the picture above. Two words of warning, and believe me, these don't deter from the toy because the kids love it so much, but you're going to want to know... Frist, the volume is high, but you can easily adjust it. You'll want to know that after an hour goes by with movie-like sound effects booming all over your house. And two, it takes 12 AA batteries. Worth it to invest in some rechargeables for sure.

So there's my 'it' toy list for the holiday. We're loving all of these, and betting you will too. It is my guess that most everyone with kids is going to have something Hasbro under the tree this year, and there's a very good reason for that: Loving Hasbro for the Holidays. #PlayLikeHasbro
