The Boy's Body Book: Teaches About the Body and So Much More!

You can buy this book on Amazon for under $10

This is not a sponsored post. I received the book for no charge, as just a gift, and ended up loving it so much I wanted to tell readers about it. This book, The Boy's Body Book is a priceless gift for young men. My son, who is 8-years-old has been devouring it since the second it arrived.

The book is a practical, non-fiction read, written in such a way as to catch boys' attention. It talks about every day things they may be doing, experiencing or thinking about but don't really always want to say out loud. Things such as a male cup for sports, underarm hair, voice changes, and more.

Most any topic you can think of, including giiiiiiiiirls is discussed in this book. It's never inappropriate, always very informative, and geared towards really teaching our children about every day things in life. In addition, there are also  items that make you think... like the section dedicated to saving small change towards a college fund; and information about safety, internet safety.

It's a great read that probably isn't going to get asked for this Christmas, but a gift your child might very much love to receive just the same (even if he doesn't yet know it). There is also a version available for girls.

You can learn more about the book by visiting Cider Mill Press. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

  8. Mica's body is changing. This year we had to sign if his school could give him part of a talk. They start in 4th grade about bodies changing, and add a little more every year. We've already talked to him a little bit about getting peach hair in areas of his body that he didn't have it before, using deodorant, and liking girls.

She is 18 now but when she was younger the American girls all about me body book help answer some questions and helped me explain things a lot better. It helped her so much. Thank you for sharing this because I am reminded that it would be a good time to get the book for my daughter Bella who is 8 years old and just starting to develop in some areas. yes at 8 years old they start young now.

  22. I think these kinds of books are so helpful for the younger kids. I bought a similar book for my girls when they were little and it was nice that they could go in their rooms and read them without embarrassment.

  23. These are great books for kids in the "awkward age." It would be less embarrassing for them to ask sensitive questions because they can learn much from this book. Of course, we still have to offer guidance so they fully understand.
