New Shades for a New Year: Real Kids Shades

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

My son always says he's too old for the big Legos, but let me tell you, every chance he gets to sit down and play with them, he absolutely does. I was laughing when we rounded the corner at the bookstore and he said, 'Oh! MegaBlocks. Those are for babies.'  Why? Because, I knew. I knew in a matter of seconds that he'd be sitting at that table, and sure enough... We looked at a couple of things in the area and the lure of the Lego blocks (no matter the size) was too hard of a pull to resist. He sat down, happy to build and build (and build). Some things you never outgrow, and that's perfectly okay. ;)

My son is wearing his polarized Blaze sunglasses from Real Kids Shades in the picture that started this post. It may be the cold season, but it's important to protect your eyes from the sun any time of year, no matter where you live.

Rugged outdoor style and construction to stand up to the abuse any young outdoorsman brings their way. Blaze's cool wrap style is both stylish and practical providing comprehensive eye protection. P2 Lens technology means you're getting both polarized and polycarbonate lenses.

  5. We are in snow country and it's almost more important to protect one's eyes in winter. We have over 300 days of sunshine a year making snow blindness easy in winter. Plus the shades look great!

  14. He looks great in his shades. I recall the eye doctor telling me a while back the sun in the winter is just as dangerous as it is in the summer.
