Locking it up with Master Lock

6ft-Long Keyed Cable Lock, Assorted color 3-pk from Master Lock
Got a new bike in the house from Christmas morning? If so, make sure you've also got the best to keep it locked up and secure, if you're storing it outside. Master Lock has been protecting your items and purchases for as long as I can remember, and I've been around awhile now, so that kind of a sentence counts. ;)

The braided steel adds strength and stability and the protective vinyl overcoating, prevents scratching. These are 6ft. long and 5/16" in diameter. That nice length gives you more options for when and where to lock your items up. My son had a cheapo dollar lock on his bike, and it was hard to find places to secure it because the cord was so short. With this new keyed cable lock he's able to stretch the cord long enough to get it around more things. It's nice. :)

  7. I didn't get a new bike, but I have 2 in my Garage. One for me and one for the Hubs. I could use locks when we ride them and want to leave them for a little while.

  8. You really do need a long cord to secure bicycles and other objects--then lock them in place so no one absconds with it! This lock sounds like it does the trick and perfectly!

  9. That's the brand I always look for too. That protected cable is really nice for not damaging bike paint.

  10. It's probably the only brand I trust for locks. We use them for our gym lockers and have never had any issues!
