Cornhole Boards for Weddings Provide Entertainment and a Creative Keepsake

Disclosure: I haven't heard of this trend until now, but why not? I can see it. Cornhole boards are fun. :) This is a sponsored post. All opinion stated are genuine and my own.

When most brides are planning their wedding, they are looking to create two things with each planned piece. For one, they want to create something that will be fun and entertaining for their guests. This is true when talking about the food, the music, the decorations, and the like. On top of that, brides are looking to create something memorable that they can look back on fondly as they consider their memories in the future. Sometimes brides get lucky and they're able to accomplish both goals with one wedding idea. Wedding Cornhole boards have proven to provide just that.

Many brides today are getting behind the idea of customized cornhole boards. Cornhole is a game that requires players to try and toss a baggie full of corn into a hole. The player stands a few yards away and accumulates points only when he's successful in either throwing the bag into a small hole or landing the bag on a large wooden board. It's a game that's easy to learn, and it provides guests with something to do at a wedding other than dancing and drinking.

The upside to customized boards is the ability of brides to have the board represent something special about their day or their marriage. A bride marrying a Navy man might go with an anchor theme, having anchors drawn on the cornhole boards. Others might put their new initials to celebrate the combination of two families. Whatever the case, the key is that the bride gets to make an executive decision on what the board will represent. When the wedding is over, the bride and groom can take that board and put it in their home, using it for special occasions or just having it as a keepsake. It serves as a great reminder of the night they got married. It can also provide more fun for years to come.

Cornhole boards are great for those couples who want to be a little bit different. While almost every wedding will have good food, lots of flowers, and the music of the couple's choosing, very few will have cornhole boards that provide the couple with the perfect way to keep it light and entertaining during the night. When one considers that these boards can be done for a relatively light cost, they become a no-brained to many planning brides.

  3. We love corn hole, although we don't play it as much as we should. It was popular in the north before it headed down here..

  4. Wouldn't do it for a wedding, but be fun to customize one with a favorite team or something.

  6. I don't know about a wedding, but this would be fun for a summer cookout or something like that that's a little more laid back.
