Thanks to Great Expressions I've Got Lots of Dental Happies to Give Away! And House Organizing Tips Too.

5 lucky winners are going to get the drawstring backpack and some dental hygine goodies!
Now that school's back in session and schedules can be pretty hectic, Great Expressions Dental Centers (GEDC), a leading dental service organization, would like to help you by offering some creative ways to keep your house organized for the school year. They also want to pass out some goodies to five of you in the form of random (and very useful) products for your daily dental hygiene routine...like mouthwash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.  Five lucky readers are going to get a nylon backpack like you see below, filled with items like you see above!! Now that's generous gift-giving. Be sure to visit their website to learn more about their awesome dental centers, dental services, and amazing dental offers!

This fun backpack is perfect for back-to-school!
Keep yourself organized and save some time too by taking advantage of any of these handy tips from Great Expressions!

  1. Utensil Trays. Utensil trays can hold more than just kitchen utensils. Place a tray in your bathroom for organized, sanitary toothbrush, toothpaste and floss storage.
  2. Shoe boxes.  It can be difficult to find the mouthwash when it’s thrown in with everything else. Give your shoe boxes another life and fit them into the cabinets and drawers for more compartmental storage.
  3. Towel Bars. The back of your bathroom door can be used for drying and hanging multiple towels. To use this space efficiently, install towel bars vertically below each other.
  4. Book shelves. Backpacks are likely to hit the ground once the children come home from school. A book shelf can serve as multi storage space for shoes on the bottom shelf and backpacks on the top.
  5. Mason Jars. Mason jars are good for liquids, but they’re even better for writing utensils! Place a mason jar on each office desk to track all the pencils during the school year.
  6. Picture Frames. It can be hard to keep the house tidy if we don’t remember what to tidy up! Write on a picture frame with a dry erase marker to keep track of your family’s ‘to-do’ list and dental appointments.

I love the tips, and I'm digging out a Mason Jar momentarily to store all of my wayward pens, highlighters, pencils, etc. The whole Mason Jar look is pretty trendy right now too, so I think I'll add a chalk label to one and make it a permanent pen storage space. I might even pull out two and make one for pretty fresh posies (my granddaughter picks them for me often). :)

Do you have any tips of your own to add, or great ideas you want to share? If so, by all means, please add them in a comment below.

And don't forget to enter the giveaway!! Big thanks to Great Expressions! Be sure to visit their website, and follow along on Facebook and/or Twitter. US entrants only.

We divvied it up between three adults and still had extra left to send along with some other items we had going to the shelter. Love, love, love being able to get and to donate useful items!!

Now that's a good giveaway.
We use both shoe boxes and those mini metal shelves that are for the kitchen in our bathroom. Gives us a couple extra layers under the sink.

Clear plastic shoe boxes are my go to organizing tool.

We use the utensil tray to hold our toothbrushes and toothpaste. We each have our own slot and the toothpaste and floss fits at the bottom. We than keep the tray in the top drawer in our bathroom. This way, no toothbrushes or ever left out in the open to germs and such. Love this idea.

Don't laugh, but I currently have 10 Mason Jars lined up on a shelf above my desk. LOL...They are really great for storing all sorts of desk type stuff (pens, pencils, markers, tacks, scissors). I love using them because I can see exactly what's in them too!

My 2 yr old grand daughter was driving us crazy when she would hide our tv remotes. To solve this problem, I put velcro with sticky back on a mirror and the remotes. Hung the mirror on the wall and bam! a place to hang the remotes out of her reach lol. The remotes are easy to grab and simple to hang back up out of the reach of little hands lol
